Yep I own a sweet early 50's S&W Regulation Police model .38 s&w caliber and wow what an accurate shooter it is but ashame the ammo is tough to come by and quite expensive these days !!!!
Right on! Unless you REALLY work at it, running a revolver smooth and fast aint easy! And I try to avoid work..especially working to shoot. I do have a easy time with fun!
@@PatrickEKelley3gunfun I heard that, I fumble revolver reloads sitting still on my couch, much less running a course🤦🏾♂️😂 Nice job! And awesome to see you posting more again👍🏾
Hey Patrick! I have REALLY been MISSING your regular publishing of videos man, including your SUPERB Music Renditions! I'd LOVE to have my Gen 1 S&W Model 60 back.......stainless, bull 3" barrel, shot like a dream.......but bills must still be paid, and being crippled up like I am (Malginant Congestive Heart Failure Class 3, along with a LONG list of other ailments) money is always an issue, because not getting enough work I can do is always an issue (I've earned $5k this year). Hope things are going well for you; stay safe (ie, Wuhan) and keep enjoying your life! Cheers from the Oil Patch in Central WY
@@PatrickEKelley3gunfun I'm doing my best to save up, facilitating my ability to purchase a Palmetto State Arms AK MoeKov Railed rifle (Zhukov furniture and ALG trigger). I wish they made them with 20" barrels (to utilize every grain of energy from the powder), but 16" will do for what I refer to as a '.308 Short'! Looking to find a blow-back complete upper in .45 ACP sometimie down the line (waaaay down the line) to go on top of an unbuilt lower I was able to buy nearly 3 years ago ($29.95 special Andersen Multi-Cal Lower, then piece mealed parts that are still in their packages, also PSA sourced). I've got 650 rounds of ball .45 ACP.....how long have I had them? The prices on the boxes say $10.50 per 50 rounds.....yeah, been a while. Anywho, I see the Left Coast Mindless Elites of the socialist Dems continue to destroy and allow to be destroyed, innocent people's businesses and lives-yet, they still get re-elected. All I can do is shake my head at the 3 Democratic People's Republics (I was born in WA state)......seems like our Republic is dying and I do so hate to see it. Well.....time to make some grub I can actually eat (diverticulosis, along with severe GERD.....need my esophagus replaced......per the usual, no insurance, but even if some were available, couldn't afford it after "IF you like your doctor you can keep your doctor, and if you like your insurance plan, you can keep your insurance plan" became the 'law of the land'. Keep Shooting and stay safe! Cheers from the Oil Patch in Central WY
@@PatrickEKelley3gunfun I tell you for true Patrick, the Holy Spirit keeps me going! He knows how to provide me the view that the Glass is STILL half full (though on really bad days, I do ponder it a bit), and that being on this side of the ground still puts a smile on my face!! Like Ivar used to say "Keep Clam" and carry on! Cheers from the Oil Patch in Central WY
@@PatrickEKelley3gunfun I bought it like that in 2018. Chopped to 4 1/2" from face of cylinder. Still a square butt with the lanyard ring hole intact. It has a black finish but don't know what it is. Jeweled trigger and hammer. Came with Pachmayr presentation grips but replaced with elk grips and Pachmayr grip adapter. shoots very nice. No_ 9XXX putting it at 1918 manufacture.
Odd I just purchased 2 revolvers a 22 and a 9mm for Christmas for my wife and I (she gets to pick) have not shot a wheel gun in many many years but was trained on em looking forward to Boxing day at the range
