Traxxas just keeps getting cooler and cooler. I'm loving my trx4 blazer. I put interco ground hawg tires on it. Looks so scale! Also added a engine sound box programmed to a cammed up small block Chevy. I'm 59 years old! Big boy toys😅
@@CRAIGMAC-RC It's actually the second. The 72 Blazer High Trail uses the same basic body you've been able to buy as an accessory body from them since 2021.
It's great to see a variety of high trail models. A new body would be a great addition! I'm going to buy one and make a video when the new body is released!
The overwhelming power and running machine is cool. I don't own this type of car, but the course I made has some rough spots, so I'll try to drive it someday.
Can't do the big wheels with the current tandem axle spacing. They'd have to shorten the links on the intermediate axle and lengthen the driveshaft. Could be done, but definitely would need a new body.
I haven’t got into the trailing craze yet, but I am thinking this TRX4 high trail edition sport will be the one to do so. What a cool looking truck and it’s a great way to spend some more relaxing time driving rc. 🇨🇦👍
@longboardguy I just got into RC with them. They include everything you need to get up and running. Alot of bigger models require you to spend extra on a battery and charger. But another benefit to the little trucks, they're grab and go fun. Put it in a backpack when you go for a walk, drive it over a pile of laundry. You can have a blast anywhere. The bigger trucks are really a big commitment to use. You gotta set time aside for them and plan around them. The little ones, take them along anywhere and enjoy! Batteries are way cheaper too so you could buy extra and have more ready to go.
Please do more with the 1/18th TRX4M. I firmly believe its the best scale available. Do some 2nd Gen Dodge Rams. A 1949 Dodge Power Wagon, and a 6x6 variation. Some old Ford F150s. Maybe even some Russian 8x8 trucks. 1/18th is so accessible i can honestly say id buy them all. Cheaper than one of these 1/10ths too.
Yes! The Sport High Trail is full-time locked axles and a single-speed transmission. Get all the details here: traxxas.com/products/landing/trx-4-sport-high-trail
