A few minutes in the oven really helps those "bake type things" come back to life again. A bit of oven time changes a pork pie from err, ok to err, oh wow!
You're probably right, I had never had one, so I just treated it like a sausage roll, and I like them cold. A nice little toasty toast would have been nice.
Their menu and availability always changes, they always have sausage rolls, and they are amazing. They just won an award for their Scotch egg, and it is really good!
