P&O Iona Cruise - We bimble in BARCELONA & VALENCIA and dine at THE LIMELIGHT CLUB

Welcome back, this week we are have a bimble around Barcelona as we have been a few times before so had no real plans. The Sagrada Familia always looks so amazing and is definitely worth a visit so make sure if you go to pre-book your tickets.
Our next port of call is Valencia and we get the shuttle bus to the City of Arts & Sciences and have a look around these amazing futuristic looking buildings. We get the bus into the old town and then have a quick look around the Torres de Serranos which only cost €2. We like Valencia more than Barcelona as it doesn’t feel as busy and has a much nicer vibe. After lunch at the Hard Rock Café we walk back to the shuttle bus through the park so it’s really easy to get to the city centre and back.
Onboard we have meal at The Limelight Club with celebrity guest Tim Lister. This is a lovely evening and one we’d highly recommend. The next day we are at sea and then is Celebration Night.

Hi for not really knowing what to expect we can truly say we enjoyed it alot and would definitely go again! And the extra price wasn't really that much especially if you booked before getting onboard! Who have you seen? Cocktails were ok and we only treated ourselves to those ones as we had loads of OBC to use up but they're not even included in the drinks package for those who have one - not sure we'd have them again 😂 Do you like P&O cruises or a mix? Great video guys. Love Barcelona, so much to see and do, but we still need to tick off Valencia on our bucket list, as it looks amazing.

Valencia is beautiful and so much to see. There was an amazing festival there last week as well and all the ladies were dressed up in beautiful traditional clothes - it's definitely a Motorhome stop for sure!!

Great video again! Barcelona is very nice, I even went to the beach last time i was there with my oldest daughter. Valencia looked beautyful, perhaps in the future we can visit it. Great to see that the sea sickness pil worked that good for you. Wich one did you use? See you in your next vlog.

Hi Trees, we always forget about the beach when we got to Barcelona and it’s been mentioned a couple of times now! Valencia is lovely and so much to do, always feel a bit rushed on a cruise though so we need to go back for longer, hopefully in our motorhome. Sea sickness pill and a bit of shut eye always seems to help - we use Kwells and they’ve always been really good, two transatlantics and two Bay of Biscay crossings and all good 😊 Thank you for watching - working on the next one now - Amanda & Mark 😍

We’ve never been to Barcelona and would love to go, but I have to say it looks very busy. Valencia on the other hand looks beautiful and a lot less hectic.

Hi Kevin, hope you're well 😊 Yes Barcelona always seems really busy! That was our fourth visit and it didn't feel any different than the last time - it was still around their Three Kings Celebrations so that may have been another reason. We stayed there once in a hotel and had to get a large suitcase and a bike box from the airport to the hotel and when we left on to the underground to the bus station - quite an experience 😂 We really liked Valencia and would go back again but really want to see more of Seville and Lisbon so a Motorhome trip will definitely be planned to head that way! We did the northern Europe itinerary on MSC Euribia last November and our daughter did it on Iona in February - it's a great trip and you'll love the ship! Hi Amanda&Mark, I did notice the Northern Europe videos you posted and will definitely take a look before I go. This will be our 2nd time on the Iona and also our 2nd ever cruise. We fell in love with the ship last year when we went to the Norwegian Fjords hence why we booked again. I think P&O are great value for money for what you get. Love your videos you put so much into them, nice to learn about new places before going. Looking forward to your Lisbon one as we holidayed there last October and loved it❤️

@@Travelling4pleasure Hi Donna, I’m so sorry I think I missed this comment! Did you enjoy your cruise to Northern Europe? We were supposed to be going to France in our Motorhome a couple of weeks ago but it was cancelled so we booked a last minute cruise (last Friday!!) to go to the Norweigina Fjords tomorrow!!! So excited as it’s a bucket list cruise which we were going to do next June. It’s on Iona again but we don’t mind as she’s a nice ship isn’t she?! Any recommendations for things to do?
