I love P2R. Sean is so cool headed and laid back. I wonder if this guy get stressed out. Anyways, nuff thanks and big respect to P2R for supporting the J series community. Love ya'll
love seeing the car. sounds so awesome. But, no torque readings? Hope to do similar #s in my J35 6GA 6MT (has p2r heads, headers, runners & nitrous on deck) :)
a j37, more displacement means room for more power, which is why people use a k24 bottom end with higher displacement but a k20 head for good head flow and good numbers
@@PowerRevRacing I've read the second gen ridgeline drivetrain is at the max power, especially the transmission. Is there any truth to that in your experience? I'd be looking at 20 - 30 HP. What would that look like in terms of modifications?
@@steelmule1I mean, start from FBO, obviously an exhaust, intake, and headers will do you good. Then you can start looking into compatible intake manifold and throttle body swaps. There’s potentially some air intake parts that might be able to be ported out for better flow. I mean, just an intake, cat delete, and headers; and maybe a muffler delete, would do more than you’d think. And yes, you’d most likely need to be tuned to see any actual significant gains. From what info you have here, sounds like you might need a piggyback ECU to get into more serious modification, but it’s a starting point….
My candy red 98 accord coupe.was literally thinking about that car and boom it pops up.one of my favorite body styles but The transmission sucked until I had it rebuilt. only thing missing was a 6 speed version
I think its like a 80 shot or so. It's less than 100 but more than 75. It's a single fogger wet kit on E85. So we had to play with the jets quite a bit to get it where we were happy with it.
@@PowerRevRacing i would convert a j30 myself but I've never seen any j series manual trans for sale anywhere.. almost like there non existing or really really rare
