@happyfa The majority of a mattress is the inner spring set with foam, cotton and other materials encasing it unless you're talking about a Tempurpedic mattress. I read too often comments from other readers saying how a rear loader destroys a mattress, yet when the blade opens up for another cycle, the mattress is nowhere near destroyed. Just wanted to throw my $.02 on the matter.
Well there goes one light. Woo hoo glass!! Holy fucking shit that was a lot of stuff geeze. Can't believe that little runt truck LOL took it all either. God Ryan is hilarious!
them tail lights you gotta take the rubber grommet off first and insert it in the hole then you shove the tail light back in. there easy to pop out but pretty much impossible to pop them back in like that
@GodOfSwat LOL yep. This was the first alley they picked up that day so they had plenty of room. All the alleys in that area are done by random trucks at the end of the day.
@RainbowDisposal Yeah, it has been up for a week and allready has 245, so it is getting veiws pretty fast. Yeah the packer seems thicker on the older trucks (at least #05, as well as the late #01 and #02 LOL) the CNG trucks just would have probaly taken longer since they seem to have a slower packing cycle.
@bearcat2842 because mattress are made of foam, cotton and other soft, bouncy and highly durable materials, no rear loader can do a little damage on mattress ! :)
@trashmaster684 Yep, all from one house. Most of the homes around there are rentals, so everything has gotta be out before rental time's up. Seemed like too much for the place to be a rental.
I wish we had waste people like this in Lousiana. Instead we have WM and they only take what fits in the can with the lid closed. Anything else gets left behind and you have to make a trip to the dump.
This city finally went automated in 2014, but they can still call the trash company and schedule a free special pickup for the items seen in the video. Automated collection is faster & safer.
@MasterPeter0981 : Criminals have attempted to escape prison that way, hoping to continue their escape at the garbage dump. All the news reports I've seen so far, they get compacted to death before making it that far.
He was trying to be funny for the camera. But at the same time he wasn't the biggest fan of it, either. Within the past year, he got married and moved away from the region
I didn't know they ran 3 man trucks! An FL went by the street at 1:46. Those drivers are funny loL! "it's a whole load right here" Did they go dump after that? That light poppped right out LOL
id say trying to avoid the smells, dust, glass and wood when the hopper is coming down on on the ruubish while trying to throw more rubbish in is the worst part as well as directing traffic.
The blade coming down isn't much of a problem, compared to when it's going up. It's possible for glass, plastic & wood to shoot out of the hopper while the material is being swept into the truck's body.
Anytime I watch one of those videos, I notice that no rear loader really crushes a matress. Anytime the blade litfts back up, the mattress is pretty much intact. Waste to throw away the metal bed frames though.
Nice, glad to see this clip is back, this is one of the best videos IMO ROFL at Ryan " I'm not touching i, I don't see a $20 bill strapped to it" I am susprised they did take it, here they will not take more then two bulk items (stoves, couches, etc) per week. I wonder how one of the older trucks (like #05) would have handled this stop or one of the CNG Trucks. Too bad they dont have any Leach rear loaders either LOL
maybe it was the stuff left on the curb by the sherrif's office after a foreclosure and they didn't get to it b4 trash day it was in california? right ?
Yes, this was in California; but it's a rental home along with hundreds of others in the area, and all that bulk waste was from the tenants moving out.
This is a very well made, sturdy truck. It's sad when even throw things that could be reused for people who need them. It is a waste. Otherwise, nice video. Green thumb.
