One of your best. Simple always works with fish. Let the ingredients do the talking. I love capers (many people don't). I hate parsley (many people don't). Here in China I can't get plaice, but I often cook something similar with other fish. Ever come across black garlic? It would go a treat with your dish.

mmmm, the plaice ought to be a whiter colour and the skin covering should come off easily. I usually do the lemon butter sauce at the same time as the fish in another smaller pan. That way the sauce is ready to pour just as the fish are plated. BTW, I have recently been using rice bran oil. I find it great for cooking fish.
