A show could be “made” just like this but with the cool dancing music we had back in the 70s. Lots of kids today are discovering & loving this same music! 💖Pass it ON DOWN!!!🎉
Todays black youth would benefit so much of this was the culture again, it’s wholesome and funky, everyone looks amazing in style, dress, physical shape and natural beauty. The hairstyles and moves are wonderful! ❤
Thank God I had Cool parents. They were white from Iowa. But they loved music. I know the words to most old r&b soul songs. We used to watch soul train every week. That and solid gold.
Oh my... The Afros. I'm Mediterranean. I wanted an Afro so bad I use to put tiny perm rods in my wet hair and sleep on them overnight to get a one day Afro on my stick straight hair.😂
That’s how we stayed in shape in the late 70’s, dancing at the disco and being so naturally active, high metabolism helped haha. Love to watch their individual dance styles boogie on “down the train” and this cool song too.
@@chadlaflamme7942 Not for me personally but yes, you’re correct. And cigarettes, so glad I quite that nasty habit, 30 yrs ago. I was a “social” smoker way back then, can’t stand the smell now.
@KittyGrizGriz Congrats, I quit a few years ago, and I agree, now I can smell it two cars away. I still enjoy some of my kids music, but always come back for the goodies.
Time never stands still, life is good no matter what 🎉 just keep on keeping on, I’m looking forward to what life as got installed for me 😂 59 on the countdown 💪❤️💯😃 I’m just curious I guess lol 😂
Haha, thankfully my parents were cool & didn’t police my musical tastes etc … or maybe being the youngest of 4 kids in 7 years helped. They loved music also & the fact I was going to live music venues at an early age (or maybe they cringed deep inside but didn’t let on). Pick your battles was how I raised my two … Peace Everyone & keep on dancin’
I know what you mean. I lived it too. And I would love to go back and relive it if only for a moment. But we have these videos and others so we can always take a trip back whenever we want
Dancing is one of the best exercises ever and fun, get up people and put on some good dance music ! , you may have to play music from yesteryear’s album ❤,

Platform Shoes, Big ass bell bottoms, Big ass Afros', Satin shirts and blouses unbuttoned all the way down to the belly button. Let's not forget the complimentary gold chains to top things off. Man those were the days, and I MISS THEM SO MUCH. Soul Train was the sh_t back in the day and still is. None better. Greatest era for Soul Music and music in general. Without Soul Train I would have been lost and up to no good. It was a very innocent and wholesome time of my life. I will love Soul Train and the memories it brings till the day I die. My mother knew that she could get me to help clean up the house every Saturday morning or NO SOUL TRAIN that week. LoL Those were the days.
Copeland and Pettaway are their names and they let Tomlin pick his own name to creativity and individual he was one when he had to be accountable my brother
