@AznPuke ... ehm your holding it to low, or you use to thick paper (or there is air between the layers of paper) when you have to thick paper the egg can't adsorb enough heat, so the paper will (and burn), same goes with layers paper with air in between, the egg doesn't absorb enough warmth, but you're heating the airlayer, and it'll burn.

i guess its handy if you ever find yourself in a situation where the only things you have with you are eggs and newspaper, i think i'll stick to the frying pan thank you doctor Yan!

Money for old rope as usual. Remember Origami water bombs? My Granddad showed me that you could boil water in one of those over 30 years ago. Egg, same rules apply imo.
