You know what's the weird thing?, The television series of those characters already ended LONG BEFORE those special "CARTOON NETWORK CITY BUMPERS" were ever made.

I love how they used to put toons in real life situations together like this made me feel like they really all had a life and knew each other

Even in commercials, Space Ghost still remains the goat. I adore Space Ghost Coast to Coast. Plus, his voice is absolute perfection

Thanks- Chris Kelly from CN was ithe writer, a funny guy. It was a huge project for us at Primal at the time, so everyone gave it their best shot. Later on, when I was working at Turner, I found out where the inspiration came from- a serious lack of parking spaces made for a challenging hunt not too different from the cartoon!

We need a show like this.

As a kid, I just watched it casually. As an adult it speaks to me very deeply. Kids the secret is those that have a parking spot are usually the ones thfast make the rules and then hold it against you for the rules they either made themselves or are above and don't follow. Mixed in with work comedy.

I must have seen this bumper a thousand times as a kid, and I never noticed Chicken using the word "freaking." Then again, I was a dumb little kid that didn't actually pay attention to what I was watching, so what do I know, eh?

I didn't say I don't know who Speed Racer is, I said I didn't know he was a CN character. Hell, I have a bunch of VHSes of the original Speed Racer cartoon. Oh lord, that 3 frames of animation. OOOOOOH AAAAAAAH OHHHHHHH

Pure gold... I don't mind current-day CN, but I wish they'd bring back some of the simpler stuff like this...

They think that's bad? I needed eight spaces per foot with Megas. Don't even get me started on how much time and effort that would take since they wouldn't let me get sixteen reserved spaces. But that was all before I got sacked for no good reason.

Imagine if Nickelodeon did a take on this bumper: Ren: For crying out loud, I can never find a parking space at this hour Rudy: It's so ridiculous that Nickelodeon keeps adding stars with no parking spaces. I remember the 1st time I saw this commercial. Me and my church group were at six flags waiting in line to to get on the shock wave. "The line wasn't that long " so anyways I saw this commercial and it made me think of Fred and Chicken and Thundarr looking for a space to get in the park. Lol

Although this is excellent, and I especially love the He-man-esque guy saying his line of "Wise papa smurf...", this is reinforcing selfishness in children.

they got MLPFiM and Dan Vs. they're both really good. also they like to play reruns of batman the animated series and stuff like that, other then that it's just a few sub par kids shows, some game shows, and family movies. not to bad, I watch it sometimes
