This is not a paid advertisement ( I wish lol ) This is just an honest review of how the Parkit360 trailer dolly is able to move an Airstream trailer. To see another youtuber with a 30 ft Airstream, check out / lessjunkmorejourney
10,000 pounds fully loaded. The 5 freeway with a 6% grade for 15 miles almost melted our rotors going down so we recently bought tow brakes for the van. I hope they work!
Hi There! Just got our parkit 360 10k and our new Bambi 22FB home yesterday and was trying to figure out how to use the parkit360 with our Bambi. If you follow the directions of putting the ball onto the coupler and tightening first, it didn't work b/c I can't jack the airstream up high enough to allow enough room for the parkit to move underneath it, so just curious -- did you have this problem too? We ended up getting it to work with the parkit ballmount already in the parkit and are able to get the ball under the hitch coupler but it was a real pain to get it to lock and be flush... anyway I don't see too many people online using the parkit360 and an airstream so any lessons learned greatly appreciated!!
Yes that was a problem my husband encountered too, I don't know how it eventually worked but it did, I think there is definitely a learning curve he had to get over, but even though it took over 30 minutes to get the ball and hitch to work the first time, he recently hooked it up in under 5 minutes, we learn every time.
I am an older woman who makes and sells hairbows (shameless plug lol Instagram @ThRibbonChicks) ANYWAY lol I do mostly hot air balloon festivals and am looking to make it to the big Albuquerque Balloon Festival. I would need to park my cargo trailer full of my supplies on GRASS This thing appears to have pretty big tires I would have to park my cargo trailer in between other vendors and this looks like a great solution for a woman who is NOT comfortable backing up with my vehicle. What are YOUR thoughts? Do you think this would be a good solution for me? BTW Thank you for this video!!!!
I think it could be, the only thing to consider is how heavy your cargo trailer is. Our Airstream is 10,000 pounds, so it is a beast. Only my husband can move it around, if your cargo trailer is half that or less it should be fine. The big tires really do help give traction!
