Part 1: Rockville Punisher vs EMF Audio Lowballer, what specs do you look for when choosing a sub? 

Eh I bought 2 15 Rockville punisher there running on 1500 a piece and no problems so far running at max power for about a month now and they stay cold and no smell at all

I'm still violently beating my k6s daily for over a year they hit hard an still going strong not a problem with the amp also Rockville

I have a rockford fosgate p3 and now i receive the punisher yesterday and hits hard not full power because still braking it. Its on 2 ohm now on alpine mp500. So even they exaggerated on raiting im happy and it hit harder than p3.

DAMN to think that i was planning on doing a cheap 6th order trunk build with 2 of these 15s uuugh im so tired of rockville fucking me like this ive tried to trust but im done with their bs until they start doing well by the customer im personally cancelling rockville for now and let me add i havent watched even the first 5 mins yet but this video wouldnt exist if they were actually doing what a reputable company should TELL THE FUCKING TRUTH

Can you recone that woofer and see what it can actually handle as far as abuse and power when built by a pro? That would be an interesting video.

I've played my punisher 15D1 for hours cranked mobbing the freeway at a little under a thousand RMS literally like 40 watts shy and never got hot the 12" could be different tho IDK

Just saw a post on Facebook basshead group about how one sub is better then another because it had a bigger magnet and stiffer suspension. He was comparing a low budget American Bass sub to a Rockford Fosgate T2 13 inch sub . Sure American bass subs are alright but I doubt better than the T2 13 . EMF should do a Rockford T2 13 subwoofer test to see if it can handle rated specs . I doubt that Rockville can do 1000 RMS for 45 seconds without blowing the coil .

I went ahead and got the free car monitor and paid just for the shipping I appreciate that. Although I checked compatibility after I got it and of course my awesome luck. It doesnt support my vehicle 😨 I do appreciate that opportunity though, I will be able to use it on a future vehicle or friends&family!

How about putting the scale on a solid surface to get a accurate weight

I bought the punisher 10 and also got a extra recone kit for it but anyway I been beating the hell out of it for 3 months and 0 problems I love it sounds pretty good I think its louder then a kicker l7s 12 I was running be this sub. Was a good buy for they money I think. I know you gotta make your brand look good so people buy your products so you can make money but I'd buy another punisher if I needed it.

Off topic: I need help! I have the amp and 2 12subs but no box. So i made a L ported box. I tested in the house and it was very very loud. But when i tried in the car, the sound was like medium loud. How to make a box that will be loud for small car like coupe civic?

The original Rockville was flea market tier stuff out of some Chinese buildhouse catalog. I hope nobody really expects this is going to be much different. Chinese have a saying "一分钱一分货" which is a rough equivalent to "you get what you pay for". You call the build house and tell them you want all the shit they promise for 50$, they'll put it all on a spec sheet for you and sell you something similar for 50$ but at the end of the day everyone should know corners are being cut somewhere to give you something that looks similar to what you asked for at the price they promised. By all accounts this isn't even considered dishonest when doing business in China but just part of the semantics of a business negotiation. My prediction going forward, EMF's 2.5" coil sub is going to beat this on the meter. 3" 4 layer aluminum coil will probably survive 1 minute test tone at 1400W but it will be getting very hot.

Dude you crack me up with how you talk about them, I think it's safe to say they probably don't really care much for you but then again most people the videos I've seen on these sub's they all suck I'm a Kenwood person and I feel Kenwood hits way better than Rockville maybe these people are just stupid and rather lie to get customers rather than put in the effort to build a sub that won't blow when you test it.

Step 1 calibrate your scale

I’m not a smart man, and sometimes your content is a wee bit over my head. It I can tell you something ain’t right with the math. 15.3 for the mag, 3 pounds ( maybe) for the basket and less than a pound in soft parts. 19 poundsish on an advertised 41. pound sub. Why lie?? Just advertise the sub for what it is and don’t lie. It’s not that hard.

I am assuming that the purpose of all this is to "help " those who may possibly be duped into believing all of the nonsense that is being advertised by this company. Hopefully those who may have possibly been duped have now been educated and won't take the bait. I do have to say that this is beginning to border on being petty. Move onto something more worthwhile......please.

I don't know much about Rockville subs but I do know about they're amps and mids and highs. Stop all the B.S man sheesh even your stuff has failed also due to whatever reasons. People have had great success with Rockville I'm 1 of them so why don't you focus on your company and stop bad mouthing other's. You must have a lot of time on your hands to make a hour long video before you edited it go do some damn work at your company put a sub together, test the coils, weigh it something sheeeesh
