You're really a smooth cat with how you do things. I've never done this type of work but I've been around these type shops since I was 15. I like your methods and procedures more than anyone I've ever watched do this work

That's an area of the engine that gets over looked. Most shops just go by feel. Good one.

I love the idea of having a pair of valves in the machined block jig for setting the guide gauge. Thanks for sharing that tip.

I wonder why new guide, then k liner in new guide...? And then he used 3/8 valves stems. Why all that work to stay in the dark ages with heavy valves?? Smaller stems would be a cheap performance gain in valve train stability. Maybe getting by with less seat pressure.
