The LDO Voron 2.4 is going well! Time to do the wiring final... wait I'm missing a USB cable!!! Well, let's do the skirts and screen! The show must go on. We install the skits on this printer and make a few mistakes along the way. Why are these side panels backward!? Guess I'm the backward one.

(1) Left "fake fan" is inside out. It looks the way I think it should - but it's incorrect!

Thanks for the video in real time and showing the fine details with explanations. Glad to see someone else drop stuff on the floor like I do often. The small fiddly bits are truly fun to put in sometimes like the little fan breakout board. Thanks for helping so many of us with our builds!!!

Nice job Kermit! Enjoying this build and all the mods. My V2.4 is stock right now, but in the process of doing some upgrades. This will be an invaluable series to anyone building a V2.4, well any Voron for that matter. Cant wait to see it print for the first time, you are getting close.

I'm excited to sort out the final wires and I'm pretty sure a session of trouble shooting - nothing seems to always go right, the first time. If it does go smooth, something will have to break half way during that first print!

@@BuildItBasement So true, nothing ever goes right the first time. Part of our hobby and par for the course. Personally I love the troubleshooting part of the hobby.

Having the electronics on the bottom is really annoying. I'm constantly jacking up my machine to fiddle with wiring. I'm going to move everything to the back panel, or just the octopus at the very least. Everything else about the 2 is awesome. I'd suggest to anyone building not to print non-structural stuff like the skirts until you need them. I wasted tons of filament after deciding to use modifications that required alterations to parts I'd already printed.

Once you have everything done - the electronics on the bottom isn't a real issue. (Or shouldn't be) The current design allows that bottom panel to be hinged so you can easily access everything - if you need. You could put your MCU on the back - but you'll have to figure out a way to keep things clean. The back of this printer will someday have a Nevermore MAX - so That will be taking up about 75% of the back when I'm done. Let me know what you come up with and send me some pics!
