Always look forward to these educational video's Peter . I have enough on my plate but would love to get my chops around one of these . I guess my TR6 is about as close as l have got . Must say it has all the complications and challenges these rusty old crates surprise you with ! Thanks Peter .
Yes, I know all about the complications with a TR6. I've had quite a few of those over the years. But they are now getting far too expensive silly money really.
Another top video, thank you for uploading, it’s tremendous viewing. Just out of curiosity if you don’t mind me asking, do you keep the cars you restore or sell on once complete ?
I get more satisfaction from restoring them, not driving them. Much more comfortable in a modern car, so I only keep them a short while then sell them on, to get funds to restore the next one.
I glad there’s people like you still out there doing this, without your skills these cars would be lost forever, once you get around to selling your gt6, I’d be interested in taking part in any bidding in the future, so please keep me in mind. I’ve Always wanted a classic triumph but have always been put off as I’m not mechanically minded and it’s very rare to see someone as thorough as you doing the work to perfection as you leave no stone unturned. Giving someone like myself peace of mind.
