I have been trying to do it since 3 years but in the wrong way may be hence couldn't do it exactly however I followed your step of bring the elbow down and hold and keep the back straight and after following the method I could do almost 80% in the very first day. But madam, what about high bp patients. I personally tried this asan and results in high bp around 196/146 and become hospitalised. But want to do this asan like others. I am suffering from high bp from last many years. What would be the precautionary measures to learn this asan for high bp patients. After becoming hospitalised, I just scared of this particular asan.
