Got everything he wanted, treated his mom like sh**, always in trouble at school, never wanted to work & they still gave him everything! (His adoptive siblings were all a lot older & out of the house so he was basically a “spoiled only child”. And YES. I know he was abused as a baby but was in a loving family by like 18 months I think they said. - yes I know that still has an effect on a person but still, he was a spoiled,selfish, lazy, attention-seeking brat & still is !

Also he stole basically everything of value out of his mom’s house & a bunch of her money.. many times... so his much older brother told him he was never welcome back there. - so when he says his family is / was awful ... yeah no. They gave him a million chances to not be awful.

@@puccipuu1797 they apparently reported her as missing three years ago and took her out from the policy station in another state I think, after that guy got arrested for publicly beating her while she was pregnant. So maybe they were better, they just didn't know what was happening. We can't say without more imfo. Edit: ok so apparently they also lived together in her parents house, so there might be more info on her parents somewhere and it's just me not knowing things.

College is where they met, they met at the Catholic Campus Ministry at Bloomsburg University in PA. She was 18 at the time and he was 24. He had attempted college more than once but kept dropping out. I think she only completely 1 semester during her Freshman year and then he talked her into dropping out and running away with him - they ran away in March of 2019 and as of this post they are still on the run. He isolates her from her friends and family, he controls who she can speak to. This is all very well documented and what I’ve written isn’t even an ounce of the full story, he truly is a monster.

The college thing is that is something she actually wants to do. He uses that because he doesn't want her to go because of the threat of her being in the real world and realizing how manipulative he is and he can't let that happen. She's afraid he'll break up with her if she goes to school and she's in so deep that she can't imagine life without him. He's isolated her to the point that she has no one in her life except him.

Yea, now imagine have it be your mom who’s abusive and controls all the power. She literally talks in circles. You can’t insult my mom but that won’t stop her from saying she should’ve gotten an abortion if her kids were going to grow up to be so disrespectful. My respect for her dwindles with each day. And every single one of my siblings including me has at one point attempted suicide. I’m so emotionally numb that my sister just drove my fucking car off the road and into a river. And how could I respond? Well I can’t. This is normal to me. I’ve been through this before I’ve practiced staying calm. But how am I supposed to respond to that in a good way when a couple weeks earlier my sister beat the shit out of me for telling her she can’t just beat my other sister up because she’s angry and while I wanted to control the situation my Mom wanted to play fucking pretend parent but the disguise immediately disappears because we aren’t people we are just her children and she gets pissed off over like one word buried within my explanation of the situation. I’ve got no patience for her or her god damn mental ticks and traumas when all she can do is inflict pain and suffering to the point where every single one of my siblings except for one has tried to commit suicide.

@@SueP-D I got out on my own. As I got older, I realised what was happening to me. As that happens, you tend to start getting stronger. I got strong enough to eventually leave. He did try to find me, and he threatened to kill me, and bury me in the Australian outback, where no one would find me. Fortunately, police picked him up before he got me. I left Australia and went home to England, so he couldn’t do anything. He’s a monster. I’m sure you understand as you have been through it. Glad you got away too...🌹

I was sick of it. After 13 years I left with nothing but my clothes, my self respect and (barely) my sanity. 7 years later I am with a kind person who loves me who I love. Many people do this and its not bad at all... For example when your friend doesnt answer for hours and you get mad and tell them "you ignored me, youre so mean!!" when they didnt. It happens when youre unhappy in general so you try to find reasons for it. Basically everyone around me does this sometimes, I also do it. What you should do then is to calmly explain that you didnt do what they say you did and ask them whats wrong and try to comfort them. It seems to me like you see anger as something bad and your new man is probably just someone who doesnt get mad at all most of the time.

Yes, he is. My narcissist aunt acts the same way. She'll act as the most righteous person or the victim. She has no respect for other's opinion and always insulting other people. If you stand for your own opinion, she'll attack you and keep on arguing over and over again although you are in a public place in or in front of other relatives. She'll even create stories that aren't real. She is a 59 year old single unemployed woman. She was fired from her job back in the late 1980s by her colleagues' signature campaign because she is a nightmare to work with. She berated all of them. I've stopped all sort of communication with her after my grandmother passed away (since she lives in my late grandmother's house). Nobody cares for her. I had enough with her attitude. I hope that she'll die in loneliness in that house.

That's great and same but it's not always so easy. Don't know what how he threats her in private and treats her then, maybe he won't let her leave. There are different types of narcissists. Many will let their partner go easily but try to make them feel like the reason the relationship failed is all their fault through guilt tripping and insults which is bad enough. That’s a REALLY good observation. About the positioning and what it reveals. It is quite strange and awkward.
