I just wanna thank weston... this my 4th time going thru the playlist and i know it's his last appearance so i start over from here but you the man... much respect dude
Same here brotha this is probably my 4th or 5th play through and I plan on going back to the beginning for at least one more play through... but lets be honest I’ll probably still be listening to these in ten years
@@RSMoreno I’ve done too many laps to count. But how I have a playlist of the best ones which I know will always have me entertained. My favourite is when carrot top was on with BoBo.
WARNING! This is the last Patrice episode in chronological order. I just wanted to let anyone know who thought that they still had a handful of episodes to listen to. The rest are Post-Patrice episodes or really old and out of order.
@@revvolutions there's a couple(and i do mean like two or three) appearances of his that are uploaded to youtube from their pre-satellite days that aren't listed here, like rich vos's roast, but other than that, no, this playlist should be all of his appearances.
Damn! I didnt realise this was the last episode. Started the next one and was looking at the comments. Thought there were still a few more with his appearances. Absolutely gutted. Thank you Weston for everything man. All this content of Patrice is unbelievable and he’s become a father figure to me and to so many people around the world. Going to push through these next episodes but it’s definitely going to feel strange. Going to hit me in a different way. The past 18 months I’ve just been religiously listening to Patrice O’Neal and soon I’ll have listened to about everything out there possibly with his name on it. I’m doing everything in my power to get Patrices legacy out there and want him to stay relevant for as long as possible. It’s strange having such a bond with someone you’ve never met before. People like us have with connection with P that’s hard to explain to people who don’t know much about him. Rest easy pimp ❤️🙏🏻
It's ironic that in this his last appearance he tells Collin and jimmy he loves them and he apologizes to Collin for something that happens years back but like he had to addressed it with Collin. Like life was getting letting handle affairs before he left. I miss him ! #RIP Patrice
Thank you for keeping a piece of Patrice alive Weston 🙏 people will enjoy these clips for years and years ! I’m sure I’m not the only one that has listened to these episodes over and over . I’m on my 4th or 5th playthrough of these Patrice episodes and I plan on starting all over from episode 1 . Cheers Weston and all the fans of Patrice !
Lol, you are not the only one who listens to the Patrice Playlist over and over. Plenty of people like us that truly appreciate the brilliance of Patrice, and almost feel this weird connection to him through these videos. Always something new to find and appreciate while relistening to these clips.
yo!! i'm about to restart the whole shebangy bang over. i started, since we've been in our slow season, to play these at work and the kids are losing their minds. i have to explain some of the stuff they talk about and they are amazed that people used to talk like this on the radio.
Eerie .. they joked about people getting famous and stopped doing the show. Patrice said fame called and he answered... and this was his last show. He did it. RIP Patrice O'neal my new favorite comic
Around the 17:00 mark "He doesn't smile when he's happy, he doesn't cry when he's sad!" There was a genuine pause there at the sheer brilliance of that statement.
After this last show that was it for me. R I p patrice. One of my regrets I start being a fan late in his career I didn't know about him just saw him on vh1.but as soon as I listen to the stand up I had to find more stuff of him that's how I ran across this radio show.those upload were a goldmine
If this was it, then I just wanted to massively thank whatever legend is behind this legacy. Thanks for letting me feel like I could get to know my favourite comedian. A big regret is I'd never get the chance to hire Patrice, because I definitely would have if I'd known of him in his lifetime. Much love !!
Guys don't forget to check out Patrice O'neal O&A appearance episode #141 "Can a nigga get a sandwich" I noticed Weston uploaded that one out of order it's from a 2008 appearance but if youve been listening to these in order there's a good chance you missed it. It's really hilarious, DL Hughley was in studio talking politics and relationships with Patrice.
I hope Patrice is happy somewhere out there man. Patrice, Anthony, Opie, Jim and the many guests on the show have served me a lifetime of golden comedy. Even reading the comments through this journey has helped me realize that there still is great people in the world even today during such terrible times. Patrice is the GOAT no questions asked.
Kobe just died yesterday... Today I finish the patrice playlist... at least where he is alive on this Weston4020 playlist. Ive known the whole time he was dead... still a sad feeling. RIP.
Colin, Patrice, and Bob Kelly are my holy trinity. The way they trash each others lives and psychological problems is amazing. But Colin and Patrice are the best because of how similar they are.
Anyone putting that on Opie is STUPID. His entire platform after losing Anthony was adding comedians. What exactly do you think Opie had in mind when shortened Patrice's appearance?
Most of it was that they weren’t doing Free Radio anymore and they just didn’t get Patrice first-thing in the morning, could’ve been Patrice making the decision after so many slaps in the face from the radio people offering him peanuts to do what would’ve been a world-class radio show for them. Edit: I wouldn’t want to get up at 4am to do radio for a company that spit in my face, even if I was best friends with the show.
Gregg has no idea how to genuinely relate to people brotherman. He's only marginally better than Intern David. I think the David and Bobo show was like a retarded microcosm of OnA.
Its tough to understand that a man with this kind of mental energy and charisma was weeks away from death... the body and brain responsible for all this comedy and philosophy gold failed him. Tough to accept. I like to think Patrice is in a better place telling me "shattaaaap!"
I don’t know why I am more sad about Patrice being gone than people that I knew in real life that are gone. There is something about his ideas that resonate with me so deeply. I truly believe my life would be half the life it is now without Mr. P
Colin recently said this was the last time he saw Patrice and I’m so happy that at least they aired it all out before he went. I love Colin and patreeky
@@willso8631 The fellas talking Patrice stories after his death. And I think Opie later released some 'best of' compilations, and some are out of order.
have probably listened to the playlist 5x thru. my only problem doing it again.... everything is so old.... almost 15 yrs at certain points. still might listen again
Funny how this last episode featured legend vs legend first time I rly saw Patrice backpedaling and up against the ropes. But you could tell there was a lot of love there.
I was listening to this on autoplay while cleaning and found myself saying some of the lines as they were saying them. Im like Jesus how many times have I heard this?
My head was gonna blow. Vito knew it was Barzini, because before tatalgia accepted the truce he looked for the ok from Barzini. It's subtle but it is in the scene.
"This Mick-ocrit!" 😂 RIP O'Neal this man has made me laugh more than he realized....he impacted more people that he should've "retired" and stayed out! (Real fans know what that means)
It’s quite fitting Patrice’s last appearance was with Colin, who he looked up to. It’s also quite fitting that, in Patrice’s last appearance, Opie is continually trying to shush him.
Rob Rose Patrice, Otto, Giraldo, Hedburg, Hicks, Rickles, Rivers, Pryor, Carlin.... but Schumer, Mencia and Cosby are alive. Steal jokes or rape, keys to a long life/career
One thing I noticed is Norton is always so fucking quiet when Colin is in studio because he can fucking destroy Norton at will Colin has Norton totally clocked he knows exactly what Norton is all about and it makes little Jimmy nervous that Colin can tear his whole life and psyche apart.
Norton is quiet whenever any other comic is in... He's acknowledged it, he says the reason is because he's on the show everyday so he likes to sit back and just let his friends and other comics have the third mic and get themselves over. It's why hell completely leave the studio when other comics call in sometimes.
+Anthony Limon They've all acknowledged Colin as their leader or a veteran. Patrice put it nicely, called Colin the Zeus of their Olympus of comedians.
Damn, how about the multiple jokes about not being able to see out of his left eye? Someone couldn't have mentioned to Patrice to hit the ER on the way home?
This episode :( with hindsight it's like a special time where as sad as the outcome of things was/is, it's happy to remember him. I'll always remember that shitty song at the start because of this 😑
The actual part of The Godfather where Don Corleone knows its Barzini is when The Don and Tataglia are having their back and forth, at their first sign of peace, Barzini chirps up and says, "then its settle, the drug trade with contine and Don Corleone will give up his power" etc The Don stares at Barzini for a second, realizing it was him all along that set all this in motion to have the drug trade protected.
Patrice talking about being blind in one eye. The end is nigh 😢...but Patrice and his mom having a meeting with Colin and her taking Collins side is hilarious
Gregg brings the organisational skills. Everyone else brings the content. If he doesn't structure other peoples conversations how was the audience going to understand?
@@PrivateAckbar by listening to every word the comedians say. If we miss something or didn't understand something said, we can rewind the video and hear it again.
