It's crazy how much Opie would talk about radio hackiness but then personify it. The last, like, 45 minutes, him and Anthony descend into complete idiocy. I'm glad Patrice stayed out of the show making complete anuses of themselves.

Listening to these old patrice episodes gives me that much more respect for the ability of ant to carry on meaningful and funny conversations while Opie sits there and interrupts, ruins, and monotones over everything, rarely bringing anything of value to the conversation.. Amazing.

I see Patrice as being very diplomatic in that; he had to put up with these two guys Opie and Anthony who are incapable of having a healthy amount of critical thinking; in order to get his recognition. Alex was very patient.

this was the most focused Alex Jones was on the show, Ant kept distracting him and he was still focused. Opie annoyed the shit out of me by continually saying he is not answering the questions.

Patrice's question about how you get to do these big movies, is asking who allows them to make it. Someone owns the rights to King Kong, or Star Trek, or Lord of the Rings. They've existed for decades. Patrice was asking, how do these directors get the permission or rights to create movies based on these existing sources.

It's so transparent how they (especially Opie) try to railroad Alex because they can't refute what he's saying. He gave specific sources for virtually every claim he made and we know they were looking them up because Anthony brought up the article about the NY subway experiments almost immediately after it was mentioned. But despite all that they remain stubbornly naive about everything, (especially Anthony imo, for someone so critical of the government he sure has a tremendous amount of faith in them whenever it comes to potential conspiracies). It reminds me of the episode where a caller calls up saying he's got a buddy in the NSA who's passively monitoring all private communications. Like he broke everything down specifically and O and A are like "they're monitoring our phone calls and emails? That's so ridiculous, that would never happen, you're a lunatic". Now, of course, we know better (and they should've too, the Patriot Act had already been passed)

2020 and today i wouldnt find myself agreeing on A.Jones based on whatever the milieu surrounding him is, but his foresight on drip feeding us towards acclimation is pretty spot on.

The conversation was pretty interesting, but they kept trying to be funny and failing by cutting him off and making him go on an entirely different rant. Shit doesn't always have to be funny all the time. Especially when it is forced like they were doing here. The entire time I was listening to this I was like just let him answer the fucking question about why they have memos...lol Opie...then cuts him off because he has ADD and can't fucking follow a train of thought more than 30 seconds without needing to hear his own voice. xD
