We were in the audience that night. This was a mere 2 days after Luther passed and we were thrilled that Patti didn't cancel. On the contrary, there was not a dry eye in the house. Awesome tribute! R.I.P". LV. P.S. I'm still hangin with black girls lol

This is what you got when you take good care of your voice. U can be 100 yrs old on a wheel chair and your voice will be intact. I salute you Patti for taking care of what God gave you. I've been a Whitney fan all my life and i never once made any bad comment bout her, but i must say i felt so disappointed of her as she did not take care what such great gift given to her. But destiny is destiny i guess. Good job Patti, you're my number 1 now, no longer #2.

WHEN PATTIE SAID SHE SCREAM WHEN SHE HEARD LUTHER HAD PASSED BROUGHT BACK SOME SAD MEMORIES FOR ME. WHEN I HEARD LUTHER HAD PASSED I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK AND THE TEARS STARTED POURING. I CRIED ALL THE WAY HOME AND ALL WEEKEND. THAT HURT ME TO MY HEART. I LOVED LUTHER VANDROSS AND EVERY ONE THAT KNEW ME KNEW THAT. PEOPLE WERE CALLING SAYING ARE YOU ALRIGHT. +NORMA JONES That is exactly how i will be when Ms. Patti passes away. I say that because we all have to pass on one day and i'm 48yo and she is 73yo this year. Who knows she may out live my gay ass but if not i do know that the way it hit you and those feelings you went thru when you heard Luther passed,girl when Patti does i'm gonna be a wreck and i know people will be calling me as well asking if i'm ok because she has brought me thru so much. Hell,25 years ago i was on stage in drag lip syncing to her music and they were introducing me as the Patti Labelle of the south hahaha because they all know miss girl has brought me through some storms. My God ,My God...every place that has skin on my body has goosebumps all over it. Patti can belt out some love ballad's and get us on our feet with the dance songs but she can shake us to the core with those gospel songs as well. Go ahead girl.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY! Before I became born again christian, I listen to Luther's 🎶! The man had a voice that can never be replace. Ms. Party's voice can never be replicated! I pray for Healing and Deliverance for her and every living soul to live HOLY. HOLINESS IS STILL RIGHT! Girl bye! I am a preacher son myself I disagree with that I feel like if you a good person in and out yes I have been baptized but my thing is if you are good person you have a good heart I don't see nothing wrong with God accepting us how I feel about the church that's another subject I just feel like the church is a cult in the Bible is another thing it was written by man I can write a Bible myself and say this and that but there's no proof that God actually said those words?! I feel that religion is a cult if you are different they would not accept you and I feel like that's wrong just like they're different colors there are different people on this planet everybody is not the same as long as you have love and peace in your heart that's all that counts when I became older as an adult I was so glad when I left home because it was just sadness I was not happy but now I'm happy and free and even more blessed God is good all the time yes he is I love him I love him I love him! I tell him that every day I already know He Loves Me you show me that everyday of my life!
