The big clubs have third party deals that the poorer clubs dont so that alone kinda makes the cap redundant .

All of Kent’s argument comes down to administration and governance. The roosters were a basket case for a long time, then nick politis turned them into a powerhouse. Similar story to the Rabbitohs. If the Titans had nick politis and were as well run for a decade they’d get players for unders. The responsibility is on the club board to set direction and vision and the CEO to drive that, create a great culture and financially viable club.

I agree, the Dragons won in 2010 and a decade later still haven't recovered. Obviously this is partially down to management but it cant all be.
