Thanks, good info. I'm not sure why you wouldn't lower the time to just enough to complete the task successfully though. Especially since spoilage is a factor...( 3600?)

Hi Damion S- the time allowed doesn't matter in the context of the profile here. We can run another profile to remove the food before that 3600s expires. The "if time" statements are what control "when" the pump runs. The "profiles" determine "how" the pump runs. Thanks for the close watch!

So i have followed this setup to the letter and when i hit feed mode a the first thing that happens is the pump runs in reverse or clears the line, then feeds the tank, but does not clear the line a second time. I find this odd because your video shows the feeding first and then a line clear. i have triple check my set up and it matches yours to the letter so am i missing a step.

Any recommendations on the farthest I should go from the DOS to the tank? Right now my fridge will probably be around 6 feet from the tank. Is this too long?

Does the line not clog from it drying out after going backwards and not require a flush?

Hi Johnny, in my experience the line does not clog, but the line does foul. You'll need to replace the tubing every 2-3 months depending on the food type and feeding frequency.

So, the food thats in the tubing outside the fridge, if it needs to be refrigerated what do you do? Dose bad food to your tank. And get on with the trident already! As of right now its just a unicorn. Talked about but no one has ever seen one

Hi Dave! Part of what we go through in this video is to return the food back to the container in the refrigerator after the feeding so it doesn't spoil in the line. To keep the food cool some users have even used a little single bottle wine holder/chiller if a full dorm fridge isn't possible.
