Just a heads up that Ovasitol (Inositol) is a sugar alcohol and some people may have digestive issues after consuming it. I tried it for the first time yesterday and it gave me an upset tummy for a little while. I've read though that this side effect eases after a few days/weeks and to maybe start with 1 dose for a week or two instead of the recommended daily 2 doses, at least until u get used to it. Good luck to u all!

I’ve lost 100 lbs since Jan by doing keto (fallen on and off the last 3 months but lost 60 lbs the first 4.5 months) and I can’t believe all I’ve learned about PCOS and my insulin resistance. I’m still battling the habit of craving sugar (or keto sweets) after meals and it’s tough since I did it for almost 10 years eating a ton of sweets. But I can do it!

Got diagnosed during covid. Was working through out covid. Went through immense stress, sleepless nights, poor diet, increased BMI of 31, irregular menses, infertility. Struggling to lose weight inspite of being on diet religiously and regular gym workouts. I have been completly jam-packed with work....still I workout.....i lost 4kgs in 1 yr.... gained it back in 3 months....now starting from zero..... inspite of being a doctor myself didn't have knowledge about how to deal with PCOS. Slowly i am making changes....i am being gluten free since 3 months....now going to go dairy free...lets see how things work out.

This video was so informative and helpful. I was diagnosed with PCOS earlier this year, and I definitely have insulin resistance. I've been working out for over three years; weight training/powerlifting. These past three years, though, I've done nothing but gain weight. It's been so frustrating because I've watched my weight go up over 60 lbs and move up two pants sizes from what I used to wear. Thank you for not putting the blame on the person. I've seen too many videos of people saying "just eat better". You've given many people, like myself, an actual tool unlike other videos I've seen.

Insulin resistance is really confusing to me now. I thought I understood but I guess not lol! Many PCOS women have normal A1c so how exactly is insulin resistance measured for PCOS women without diabetes or pre diabetes (anything under 5.7)? If all labs, blood work and doctors test are coming out normal. 😩🤔

Unfortunately, I've tried every single thing to lose weight with PCOS w/ IR. I did whole wheat/grain/sweet potatoes, perfect plates etc. Doesn't matter the type of carb, my body says absolutely not. I'm great with portions, tracking macros, nutrients, calories etc... Only thing that has EVER helped me lose weight , super quick too? Carnivore/ strict keto. Lost 26 lbs in a month, 105 lbs in 5.5 months. I did nothing else but just eat meat/chicken/eggs lol. It's super hard but when you're literally crying and wanting to yeet yourself off of a cliff every day since the second grade, you'll try anything.

I have pcos and diabetes. This info is so helpful. Like you stated the doctor just wants you lose weight like what the jell does that mean. A few years I was able to lose worthy but once I stopped metformin the cravings jumped! Then pandemic and here we are. I’m very grateful for this info! I would like to know if anyone taken the Ovasitol? What are the side effects? Here often would I have to take it and how long do I take it for?

I am so glad you found this video helpful! I have not heard of side effects but I have heard of some Cysters experiencing their blood sugar lower when they take it without a meal or full stomach. The dosage is twice a day, I like to spread mine out, so once in the morning with breakfast and later in the day with diner! The supplement comes in a 3 month supply, which some Cysters have seen is enough time to see improvements in their symptoms. It really depends on your symptoms! Remember to take it one day at a time, Cyster! ❤️

It gave me a bad stomach but I've heard this passes in a week or so. My fingers are crossed that it does cos I just started taking it. I took it after lunch but going to try drinking it while eating this time. And also start with 1 dose instead of 2 for a week or so until your body gets used to it.

I have lean pcos and the symptoms you've given of insulin resistance seem to apply to me but the weird thing is that I cannot gain weight. No matter how much I try. It is rather so easy for me to lose what I have. It makes me look very skinny and small for my age. Do you know anything about this?

Hi you really should check you the mastering diabetes method by Robbie and Cyrus. Would love to hear your opinions on it! Their scientifically proven philosophy is that to properly treat insulin resistance, you need to have a high carb and low fat diet. I have been trying it for the past 4 months and it has truly changed my life (and my bloodwork as well). You've been so helpful on my journey to healing my PCOS, and would love to see how you feel about this :)

My period doesn't care about anything lol. Constant periods through pcos, both doses of Moderna and exclusive breastfeeding. She's gonna show up exactly where she needs to be on time.
