It took 2 1/2 years and a lot of trial and error. Including exercise was important, but diet was the biggest factor. Switching to all organic diet, increasing intake of vegetables, and eliminating refined sugar was the biggest factor. Now 13 weeks pregnant. 🙂
@@zoep7137 thank you for asking this question. It is potentially a good medication and contraceptive BUT there are potential risks, especially by the time a woman reaches mid 30s. It has helped some women a lot, but there may be other options. It's best to talk with your family doctor or endicrinologist or gynecologist.
What helped me the most was following a keto diet and doing CrossFit with heavy weightlifting for 2 years. Many of my symptoms completely disappeared. I have now reintroduced carbs especially fruits back into my diet and my symptoms have not reappeared
Great tips girl, I don’t personally have PCOS but I have a lot of clients who do and I know sometimes they just feel helpless when it comes to weight loss. Will pass this along!!
Just tell most of your clients to go are Buy Agbara Herbal Deep Cleanser and this Herbs acting as food suppliment to the Body and work through your bloodstream and flushed out every unwanted particles in the Body and make your body so healthy ,ok
Thank you so so SOOOO much for all of your pcos videos! They’re always super informative and I wouldn’t of known where to start with my symptoms you hadn’t of made these. It’s nice to know I’m not alone ❤️ you’re an angel!
I’ve been in a rut with PCOS and I can’t tell you how this video made me feel. I’m so excited for changes and will keep tabs on everything you post. Thank you!! Much love from San Diego, California ✨💛💛
I feel like I've told that a few times already but thank you SO MUCH for your videos on PCOS. Got diagnosed two months ago and you helped me to figure things out so much. Owing you lots. Also, as usual, editing on point girl. Love from France!
Oh man I just seen this new reply. This was two years ago and unfortunately I had hysterectomy.., I do have one ovary left and pretty much have it under control lol 😂
I was just diagnosed with PCOS last week and the first thing my doctor suggested was to get on the pill but I know that would be detrimental to my mental health and I also don’t like the idea of putting that in my body (and the effects that might have down the line if I decide to have kids), so I’m looking into a more holistic route, thank you so much for the tips and all of your videos😭🙌🏾💕
Just went to the website for the first time -it's really helpful especially if you're someone that's ready to start a healthier you!....I also downloaded the clean kitchen guide!!...GREAT WORK on your channel and website RACHEL!!...God bless you!
My sis just got diagnosed with PCOS last week and I’m going in to the doc’s in two weeks to check me. Have been eating keto for 4 days now, trying to get a jump on feeling/looking better.
I’ve been back and forth with managing the symptoms for PCOs. Sugar and caffeine are definitely the two things I am finding hard to omit. However my incorporating Protein for most breakfasts I got my period back after 2 years. Though it’s disappeared this month so it’s interesting to know what has worked.
Weight lifting, HIIT, cardio, small portions, lots of non starch veggies and Small amounts of organic meats/fish/egg, probiotics MOST IMPORTANT: positive mindset. The biggest thing That helped me was acting like I didn’t have PCOS and acted like everything was fine and I was normal
I used to watch you and i thought i was just celiac all these years. Now i am feeling all that and just got diagnosed with PCOS and it is so hard I feel so different. I feel like a different person than I was last year. It’s getting so bad and thank you for making videos like this. For people like me who don’t know a lot about this it can be so stressful. Thank you.
Omg, yes! I was a coffee addict for 20 years. I found myself getting more and more jittery. I broke the habit. Today, I can have a couple of cups and a soda or so per week. It's nice to see the two of together.:)
I don’t know what to do. I was just diagnosed with PCOS last week, but I also have bipolar II and my relationship with food is really emotional. I suffer from severe, debilitating depression and have for years. No medication has worked so far and I’ve tried at least 15. Changing my diet means cutting out 50% or more of my happiness chemicals for the day. I’ve tried to diet so many times and I never make it past a week. I have zero self control, I’m miserable, and I’m completely broke so I can’t afford the diet you’re recommending. I don’t even know where to start.
thenormalstate I have IBD and Bipolar type II, also make emotional eating, kind of feel stuck and without hope but what I’ve been doing is taking small steps like cuttin out certain foods (one at a time), move or do exercise and meditate 10 min to calm down the anxiety. Hope you feel better soon.
Girl I am in the same boat. Really struggling with the binge eating. The way I am trying to tackle it, is that I make one big meal per week which will feed me for a few nights or lunches. This meal has to be healthy but yummy. So this week was a giant Bologna’s with shredded zucchini and carrot and mushrooms hidden in it. I used that to make tacos one night and spag bowl another. By picking Vegas that are in season it was actually quite inexpensive, the other meals I tend to binge eat still, but trying to keep the cheapest Vegas and greens in my fridge and because I eat so much chocolate I am giving myself a quota of 1 bag of Freddo frogs a week, if I eat them all in one go (which I do) tough titties, so I am learning to ration them so I can spread out the dopamine. I have found making rice dishes be for the big meals are usually my cheapest, and will get the bag of frozen veg to save in money if I am really tight. Also trying to force myself to get 30 mins home workout off RU-vid to try and increase endorphins (if I’m honest I’m really hit or miss with this). Sounds super lame but I will get a timer and smile as wide as I can for a minute, feels so fake but actually helps increase dopamine. Let me know how you are going in the future and we can keep each other in check, I am sick and tired of life passing me by because I am so depressed
Try Keto. Clearly you have an addiction to carbs. The first week will suck but if you push through you will be fine. Keto doesn't have to be expensive. Ground beef, olive oil, eggs, green veggies
Intuitive eating changed my life. I have received the same diagnosis as you in the past and I can’t emphasise how much intuitive has turned my life around... I now have no problems whatsoever with food, I have lost three stone and I believe I have overcome my past eating disorder. I strongly recommend that you look into it.
Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been at my wit ends with my pcos lately...things you brought up in this video and I didn’t even realized linked together. I have no tolerance for dairy but for 6 or so months...I now have problems eating fruit as well. Im talking full-blown attack. I’ve never had this before and I eat a lot of fruits and veggies. My sleep insomnia is terrible and very frustrating. I’ve created a routine to wind myself down but the past month I’ve had such a hard time. I’m searching for new information and a new routine to help me because to be honest, the drs I’ve seen are no help. Thank you for this video. Your a 🌟
You look so pretty and happy :) it's pleasure to watch and listen. Back when you discovered your PCOS I watched videos about it out of curiosity, but I got diagnosed with it now, trying to have a baby, :( after checking my AMH and PRL hormones. Stress management is very big issue for me, especially now. And what I am feeling is my body is more and more vulnerable when it comes to stress. Thanks for very valuable videos :)
Rachel - what do you think about the pill? The pill manages my symptoms well I think and I don't get flare ups. Is it bad to be on the pill long term to treat it?
One of my biggest problems with even getting PCOS diagnosed is most doctors don't seem to have any clue on what I'm talking about. I've only just become aware of this in the last few weeks (though I've clearly had this problem since I was a child), and I have no idea where to start or who to ask. The few doctors I've already spoken to seem to have no clue what so ever on this particular issue. So if you have any tips on where I can go to get help I'd most appreciate it. I'm from QLD, Australia (not from a big city like Brisbane or Gold Coast), so if specialist care is needed I may need as much information as possible. Thank you.
Samantha Hughes if you think you have it ask for a blood test to check hormone and insulin levels and an ultrasound of your ovaries to directly observe if you have the characteristic cysts.
Hello Rachel. I'm really glad that you overcame the PCOS situation without any meds. It gives me hope and inspiration too. So I'm a university student and I'm not in a situation where I can go to gym or buy equipment for weight training. So what do you suggest I do instead? Do you happen to have a workout video which doesn't involve equipments, and can be a close enough substitute for the weight training. I do not have fat anywhere on my body except the thighs and the lower abdomen. I do workout more or less regularly, I'm a vegetarian and I follow a strict vegetarian diet. But my periods are really irregular and I have been diagnosed with PCOS as well. I'd be really grateful if you could give me tips on the questions I posed before. Thanks a bunch.
Rachel, I would be really interested in a video specific to hirsutism as it is something women with PCOS can have as a symptom. I'm not sure if that's something that interests you, but I would love to hear your recommendations, remedies you have heard of, and anything related to helping lessen that symptom that can really affect someone.
I love your edits. My goodness you have gone a long way I will say this. You definitely have creativity. I love the intro. Love it. You give me such great creativity ideas rach, thank you.
Since I discovered your channel , my life has changed, and I share your videos with my friends and followers who deals with PCOS. For 1 year and a half I’m no longer dealing with PCOS issues, but I kind of slow down in my exercise as well as my food and now I regret it 😂. But now I’ve learned my lesson Do not ever play with your hormones no matter what 😂. So thank you , your video make me so relieved and in a positive mood that I can take my control back to the situation. Love you 😍
I just wanted to forget I have PCOS after fighting with it for a few years. and I just ignored it for this past year, but ignoring it clearly won't fix it, so I'm at it again cos the symptoms are just disrupting my life :(
I just found this channel. You are amazing ❤️. I have been checking on your videos and found that the last video updated was about 6 months ago. When are you going to come back?
I have been binging your videos - love your approach to managing your PCOS. I am searching for your workout routines for your weight loss journey, where can I find this?
At this point i'm still very shocked with the negative result I got after suffering from PCOS for so long. 🌿🌿🌿Thanks once again DR RORPOPOR HERBAL on RU-vid for your natural supplements✅✅✅
I feel like a lot of this might also be applicable to Hashimoto’s and other autoimmune diseases that fuck with your hormones. I’d love if you did an in-depth video on hashi’s ☺️ as awesome love your stuff!
Hey! Thank you so much for the amazing tips... I have really benefitted from your videos... Have been able to shed a lot of weight through low carb diet & weight training.
@Hannah Colom, It is Agbara Herbal Medication, that you will use to cure your PCOS completely and you will never experience such symptoms ok and you can get pregnant without struggle , This Agbara herbal Deep Cleanser also serve as food suppliment ok,
I know this is from a long time ago, but I have troubles with feeling hungry and then when I do eat its often the same thing for months at a time (For example, rn I only eat the same chicken sandwich and fries from Chick fil a. I know this is not healthy at all but I can't get my body to eat anything else). Is this also a symptom of PCOS? I have multiple other symptoms and I'm going to check with my female doctor to see, but just wanting to know if this is another symptom I could include?
I've had PCOS 20yrs this yr I wanna show it who's boss bc I've lost three baby's. How do I stay strong when my partner won't go on this diet. What rice is best brown califlower or wild id love to do a one on one and talk
Do you have small weights under your heels when you were doing squats in your workout? I struggle sometimes with my balance and weight distribution in my feet when I squat so I’d be interested to know the reasoning behind this if I saw it right in the video. Loving the more natural look too by the way :) xx
There are a number of factors that could be causing you to not lose weight. Consistency plays a big part - it has taken me years to reach where I am at today. I would recommend speaking with a naturopath to see if they can help as well.
I bought the mesomorph training plan. Can’t afford a personal trainer to help me determine my 1 rep max or whatever. Can’t find any consistent info online about how either (every resource says something completely different) 👎👎👎
There are a lot of calculators online. Generally, if you can comfortably lift something for 12 reps that is your 80%. For example, you are lifting 10kg for 12 reps, your 1rm would probably be around 14kg.
theFitty absolutely 👍🏻 I know some do IF implementing carbs. That’s not for me, I benefit from high fat,low carb and a “eat when you are hungry” protocol 🤗
Your videos are helpful but you should read the medical medium books or watch his videos on RU-vid he explains that eggs feed pcos and it’s the worst good to have if u have pcos!
Oats are NOT gluten free. Stop talking about gluten sensitivity... Please... Sincerely, a celiac who is not taken seriously because of 'gluten sensitive' new-age hippies...
Yeah thats true its not, i think theres specific brands that make sure they are but we just stopped buying them at all. Im not but my partner is. Sensitivity is a thing though too because of general bad gut health its a harder food to digest.
@Tiffany Davison Insulin resistance is a symptom of PCOS, gluten sensitivity is not. Gluten as it relates to insulin can be a problem due to spikes in insulin
soliferi oh great! Thank you! I’ll be sure to let my dr and specialist know that they’re both wrong... are you taking appointments? Gluten sensitivity and bloating can be a symptom of pcos. I know because it’s a symptom that I’ve been battling with. So before you go off pretending to know every detail about everyone’s PERSONAL PCOS symptoms and journey, think about how it might effect them and the fight they’re dealing with.
drwiltsie exactly what do you know? A dr diagnosing over RU-vid? Instead of a dr and specialist who has taken the time to talk with me and have decent bedside manner? Oh sign me up!
