@@WhatWillYouFind against shields it's quite bad. Better range than a plasma cannon but unless all 5 hit something it won't break a frigate anytime soon.

Does great damage coming in, flashes behind you... "Nothing personnel, kid" immediately does zero hard flux... Nothing happens. Proceed to meme on the poor radiant, "no flux, empty flux capacitors, you don't cause any hardflux" lol

The DPS of the Paladin PDs is abysmal - The Radiant can blink, so a shorter range but higher DPS, like a pulse canon, or the large energy bug weapons from the bug invasion mod, are way better. Even the flux-inefficient, shorter range, but the biggest sustained DPS in vanilla (called something with plasma, I think) are better than Paladin PDs. Also, the radiant has really really good shields (with proper built-in hull-mods, the damage-taken-to-flux ratio can go below 0.5, and have a bit of hard flux vented while shields are up ), so getting 5 cannons, 4 medium anti-shield missiles, and all the 12 short range PD lasers - since the long range PD lasers lack DPS, (again: Getting outranged is NOT a problem for a ship that can jump) will allow 4 of such Radiants (without any AI core pilot to keep their CR high), to dominate even 4 maxed fleets at once (and the short range PDs are more than enough to melt any fighters/interceptors, while the shields can shrug off all but the most dedicated bomber carrier compositions - and even then, they will have to single out 1 of the Radiants, and surround it, so it isn't supported by the PDs of neighboring ships, and do it really fast, before the Radiant just jumps in range of their cannons, and melts the squishy carriers) with minimal micromanagement (just don't let them drift apart and get surrounded one by one), or even without it if you are lucky...
