Pearl has a history of making things seem more dramatic than they were, like when Rupaul tried to light a fire under her ass during the show. Pearl said Ru said she has "no personality, but when yu watch the show you can clearly see that Ru says that Pearl does not have a BIG personality, which is not even close to being the same thing. A big personality is someone who is more like Bob the Drag Queen or Bianca del Rio, and Pearl has said herself that she is more laid-back.

You can see it on her face though. Especially latest seasons are all fake bitch attitude and energy. She hardly looks at other judges and fully focused on camera when it's her time. She can't be bothered to look away while she's being filmed. I wouldn't want to be around that fake bitch though. Can see right through her. Well it's what is is. I'm watching it now only for the new queens

It can be an expensive career. And for many queens drag is what they do for a career. It's like painters who are often willing to do free paintings and art pieces for free or for charity, but so many painters would also like to be fairly paid for their work. The entire art industry gets taken advantage of and ripped off all the time. Same reason some queens complained about Todrick Hall using queens for his videos and productions but not paying them or showing much gratitude. The world can be ugly and so many people will use you for your talents. I can see why Ru is more willing to stick up for her work by expecting to be compensated for her work.
