Penang Char Hor Fun Recipe (Stir Fried Flat Rice Noodles with Gravy) 

Recipe *Heat up pan and put in: - 2 tbsb oil - 300g Hor Fun - 2 tbsp dark soy sauce - 2 tbsp light soy sauce - 2 tbsp water *Stir until mixed *Set aside *Then heat pan and put in: - 1 tbsp oil - 3 cloves finely chopped garlic - 30 g chicken/pork (marinated w 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 dash pepper & 1 tsp corn flour) - 6 shrimps - white pepper * Stir until mixed * Then pour inside: - 2 & 1/2 cup water - 1 tbsp oyster sauce - 2 tbsp light soy sauce - White pepper - 2 tbsp flour (not sure, maybe corn flour) dissolved in 1/2 cup water - 2 eggs (beaten) * Stir *After boiling reached put in: - Green vege *Wait until vege are cooked *Then put sauce on cooked Hor Fun ENJOY! _Correct me if I'm wrong_

I'm originally from Penang but living in the US now. I can't find hor fun anywhere here in Las Vegas even in Chinatown. Can I substitute hor fun with koay teow? We do have one Malaysian restaurant here but a plate of char hor fun costs USD14. I really miss the cheap street food in Penang. 🤣 Btw, how come this recipe is not on your website?

Do I fry the vermicelli the same way as the flat noodles too?
