i just got a penn 350m leveline, its the one with the spiral bar, its in brand new condition and i picked it up for 15 bucks with original box and instructions and wrench. its my first one and im picking up a penn senator 14/0H special this week

Yes the 16/0 senator is bigger, but there is also the 18/0 senator and the biggest reel in the world today is the Everol 20/0 which if you wanted to put the maximum drag on the fish, (which is 96 ibs of drag at full spool, about 200 ibs of drag at half, and 330 ibs of drag right at empty).....in short you could put 7000 yards of 300 ib jerry brown braid or you could put 3000 yards of 500 ib jerry brown and about a 100 or 200 yard topshot of 600 ib mono for either one with a heavy roller rod that has Winthrop express roller guides and a Winthrop adjustabutt with a super seeker rod blank, yeah it may cost about $5000 before you buy the line,(which is about $1500 to $2000), but you'll never have to worry about losing a shark....especially if its a great white.
