That is amazing that John helped you out that way! He seemed like a really good guy and I am enjoying reading the book he gave me. Your gratitude and appreciation speaks volumns!!!
The 2 peregrines were likely a pair protecting their nest. The cliff may be where their nest is. You showed one chasing other birds away & it sounds like they might have been aiming at you too.
🚶🐕🦺👟👟⛺☀️ that was awesome with John for helping you I'm glad your knees doing better the falcons was really cool one step closer to the end stay safe and happy hiking 💯💪🏆
Meeting folks, I bet it is awesome, and people like me getting to experience the trail through you is awesome as well. I'm watching a couple of other hikers, I have thought about the extra effort it takes to have a partner that relies heavily on you.
Awesome, all the best for your knees. We also get peregrines here, and those calls are normally a bit of an alarm that they might make when another bird of prey is in their area. You may have been close to their nest? Amazing sighting, birds are what I hike for.
Once again you were blessed by folks that helped you! I actually like you without the stash .. makes you look much younger 😅… so far NH is beautiful! You are getting so close, keep pushing those miles…Hike on…
You were once again blessed by those wonderful folks who helped you… NH is going to be rugged and beautiful, so much for you to look forward to! You are getting so close…keep pushing those miles…Hike on…
Outside of my (transplanted) home state of VA, I have been enjoying seeing others ahead of you posting the trail through NH. SO MANY amazing views! I hope you have good weather.
Holy cats that scared me. It looked like you slipped and used a Jujitsu move to save youself. 😂 So glad the heat cooled down for you guys. Leo looks like he has a little pep in his step. Probably from resting in a beautiful mountain home, and eating treats from Ms Gale❤. Those falcons were pretty cool and a nice view. I bet it feels better not having the stash with the heat. Makes you look younger without it, but it was neat when you could wax the ends. It would be interesting to see you with hair😅 You guys are doing great! How many days does it take to do 100 miles? ❤to Leo ✌️🫶
Thank you for sharing your journey, always the highlight of my morning! How do you intend to buy/carry food for you and Leo through the 100 mile wilderness?
