Join us as we show you Perranporth Beach In Cornwall. If you are looking for surf and sand then this is the one beach in Cornwall that has it in abundance.
Join us as we spent the day on the beach, building sandcastles, bodyboarding and of course, eating ice creams..
Miles of sand and great bodyboarding and surfing waves. Unlike many of the other Cornish beaches, this is so big that you will never feel that crowded.
Situated just off the A30, this beautiful little Cornish town does attract lots and lots of tourists, because of its great beach. But parking is plentiful and as it is so small you are never more than a 5 minute walk from the beach.
When the tide is out, this beach resembles a desert with miles and miles of sand, well 3 miles...
The town has a great range of bars and shops that sell food as well as surf gear, for anyone that has not brought it. And once you see the surf, you will find yourself wanting to hire or buy some gear.
It is known as being one of the best beaches in Cornwall and after seeing a lot of them when we there, we concluded that it does deserve its reputation.
It has a bit of everything, and as Scott says in the video, it is a beach of three halves!
As soon as you get to the beach, you do find it congested with people that plant all their gear at the first sand they step on, but walk 5 minutes and you will find it much less crowded.
You have a seawater pool that fills up every day allowing everyone the chance to jump in and paddle in the shallow pools around its base.
Go around the corner and and you will find lots of caves and more great pools that you can actually swim in as some are so deep. Then walk down the coast and you will find lots more white sand that has steep dunes, that kids can play in.
Now if you are visiting Cornwall, there are many beaches to visit, the most well known is Kynance Cove - you can see our video of that beach here - • Kynance Cove | Best Be...
And we have given you our rundown of the top ones on our video here - • Best Beaches In Cornwa...
But we would definitely recommend that you do visit Perranporth, better surf than St Ives, not as busy as Newquay, and far more accessible than Kynance Cove.
Do not forget your surfboard!!
