Got it for free, I was never one to change outfits for characters. Showed all of them to my gf and she picked the Shadow ops costume. Man am I glad she did, I can never go back to the regular battle theme in Royal
Wolfboss7 The issue with that might be the reintroduction of old characters like Mitsuru, Ken, Yu, Chie, etcetera. Mitsuru's occupation would be easy, and so would Chie's, but what about Yu, Labrys, Sho, and the rest? Needless to say, speaking of Sho, that they'd need an equally good plot or better to even have a chance at that. It doesn't hurt to dream, though. :)
They can ignore a few of the P3 cast (keeping Mitsuru and the core of the Shadow Operatives would be enough). And Yu is easy, he's the protagonist of P4 so they can do anything with him. He wasn't given a clear goal like the others. We know Naoto is still working as a detective (and the Phantom Thieves got plenty of attention so just writing an excuse for her involvement is simple enough) Now the rest of the guys are harder since most are stuck in Inaba, and making an excuse for an idol to get involved yet again in dangerous work seems sketchy but it depends on what the story is about in the end. If they do it about something that happens after they begin their roadtrip back to Joker's hometown it would even be a perfet excuse to explain away why a Mementos-like world would pop up (since they only got rid of the Tokyo-centered distortion, not the entire world's distortions).
If door-kun was ever in an Arena i think his bio would be something like Makoto Yuki • Title: "The Great Seal of Life" • Persona: Messiah • Data: The previous leader of SEES who brought an End to the Dark Hour, it was confirmed that whatever he did to seal Nyx took his life, so how is it possible that he's back? Whatever the cause, he seems determined to aid the Shadow Ops in the meantime. He occasionally asks for Elizabeth's whereabouts. • Playstyle: Probably heavy on the rushdown with a slow projectile for pressure, uses both Fire and Light, specializes on close-mid range and struggles in long range fights despite having a run/jump speed similar to Akihiko's. • Insta-Kill: "I don't enjoy doing this, but you asked for it... ARMAGEDDON!!!" *Insert 9999 damage like Liz's Megidolaon*
I swear, just having this music in battle and keeping Kasumi in her battle stance is worthy of a wallpaper.... Picking up the shadow ops outfit by mistake was the best mistake I did in this game.
in royal, when Kasumi helps you fight the shadows in nijjimas palace, it plays whatever song comes with your current outfit. Kasumi with arena, HOLY SHIT
How do these soundtracks even work? do you select which battle theme you want to be played or what? An if so, can you chose which theme plays for which situation?
The song you get is based on what your protagonist wears. If he wears the Persona 3 costume you get Mass destruction, and if he wears the Catherine costume you get Obelisk. It does not matter what your other party members wear, so even if you entire party is wearing the Persona 4 costume set, if your protagonist is wearing the Persona 3 costume you will still get Mass destruction.
Not like he's already top tier in P5 and especially in P5R (Seriously tho wait until he gets God's hand or any other physical move, get shido's will seeds, take them to Mementos boy who's name i forgot and equip shido's ring to anyone who isn't ryuji, use the move on ryuji and *kill everyone* )
Kinda. After the events of Persona 3, one of the party members, Mitsuru (the rich girl, Haru equivalent, basically, but with way more stuff going on) takes control of her family company and creates a squad to find and eliminate shadows. They get a lead on shadows to take down, which coincidentally is where the events of Persona 4 takes place. Once the P4 and P3 cast has gone into P4's Mementos equivalent, some super strong shadow/god/whatever forces them to fight each other. Since P3 already had representation and P4 also already had representation, the only "new" thing that P4 Arena had to represent itself as a costume in P5 was Mitsuru's Shadow Elimination Squad or whatever it was called.
