@@XCrawlFan Who said it was "slap" and "slap" but no "kiss"? There is a lot of affection between Liam and Marisha, even if Marisha does gets a little free with the hands (as seen earlier).

Not only Marisha. He is usually very touchy-feely with anyone close to him. There were episodes where he couldn't stop hugging Laura in C1. And don't get me started with him slapping Travis over Marisha's arms. I remember laughing at that comment back when I was watching it live because - well, pot meet kettle? :)

I really do love how physically affectionate the Critical Role cast are. Like Matt laying on Taliesin and for neither to have an issue with it in that one Talks Machina episode. I really hope I get to be on that level of closeness with someone one day.

If you watch the show you’ll see that Liam reaches out to her just as much as she does, if not a little more. A lot of the time when he’s laughing he’ll put his hand on her arm or back. When i first started watching the show I thought it was kinda weird but then realized that it was just a normal thing for them

Seriously if someone told me Liam and Laura were actually twins or siblings I’d belive them. They seem like they are all like childhood friends that grew up together for decades. And Tal was the elder god that watched over them.

Absolutly, it helps, that they are voicactors and Matt does put a lot of effort into it, but those relationships are the real drug

Then we have, Matt + Travis + Liam = A separate wavelength that doesn't require words Matt + Taliesin + Marisha = Soulmates Matt + Laura = The fun loving big sister and the reserved little brother Matt + Marisha = I think they might like each other Matt + Sam = Jigsaw puzzle pieces that fit when they shouldn't Sam + Travis = "I'll fucking kill you." "Not before I kill you first." Then together, "Nah, I love you too much for that." Sam + Taliesin = The exasperated friend at the dinner table hiding in shame from the other one who is doing a gag with two cherry tomatoes in his nostril. Laura + Travis = I think they have a crush on each other. Liam + Laura = (I mean, come on. Do I need to say anything?) Matt + Ashley = I like sitting with you in silence. Travis + Taliesin = "Would you bless my newborn, o ancient one?" "Are you fucking kidding me? You're my successor." Liam + Taliesin = To each other, "Kids, am I right?" Sam + Ashley = Two popular kids in school who are close friends making them friendhip goals for other students. Ashley + Travis = I'm willing to bet that they are siblings and are just hiding the fact. Liam + Sam = I mean, both of their names have parts of that of the other. Need I say more. Matt + Travis + Liam + Marisha + Ashley + Taliesin + Laura + Sam = Thank you.

The juxtaposition of Beau and Caleb's relationship and Marisha and Liam's is so stark and I love it so much lmfao

I especially enjoy this because watching critical role back in early campaign 1. No spoilers but marisha and tal sat next to eachother and similar stuff occured. unfortunately in earlier days chat was more impacted by toxic behavior always reacting to anytime they even touched eachother so i really appreciate this presenting they are just very comfortable friends and that physical contact doesn't have to be sexual. not trying to gaslight any arguments just appreciating how far the interactions have showcased this heartwarming community and messages they bring. thanks to this wonderful community and your big friendly hearts

@@richardredmon9016 I admit I too was taken aback by it but after watching Between the Sheets and also learning more about Talisen as a person, including his hippie upbringing, him officiating Matt and Mrisha's wedding, and just how far back their friendships go, it all just makes sense. Life just has a way of... similarly to what Talisen said, Goth kids happen for a reason. CR is a special corner of the internet.

I am like tat with close friends, I wish I could do that with more people without it getting missunderstood and I absolutly hate that there are people who have to ruin it for others by making everything about sex and slutshame people for hugging . . .

God you want to see zero hesitation trust fall? Have you ever seen the old Critical Role Just Dance video? If not, I recommend finding it and going to the section where Ashley, Laura, Marisha and Liam dance to the Tetris music.

Both sides. When I first started watching C1 I couldn't figure out if she was dating Sam or Taliesin. My son is the one who figured out it was actually Matt. I had to Google it too verify he was right. Lol
