Tribute video celebrating the love and friendship between Pike Trickfoot and Grog Strongjaw. I love these two so much!
This video was made as part of a larger collaboration between a variety RU-vid Critters. This is our #CritterValentinesProject! We have been working on this since December 2019, after a #critter on twitter suggested a Hugs Compilation and we ran with it!
It has been so much fun getting to know and work with the amazing RU-vid Critter Community. Everyone is so passionate about the show and about sharing why we love this wonderful show. Hope you enjoy my contribution and please check out and share all the other amazing compilations made for this project!

One of my favorite stories of their friendships is pre stream. Grog made a gift of pine cone earrings for Pike, and Travis actually made some pine cone earrings for Ashley. She still has them!!!

I did something similar for one of my first D&D party members. His barbarian, during the campaign, started using maple-sugar candies to rage. So when I visited Canada, I of course had to come back and give him some IRL maple candies

That could be said for the entire group, they all love each other so much! Even the romantic ones feel so natural next to the friendship love and it never feels awkward. It's so amazing!

@@antonymilne1346 love this so much about this group, they did not make it all about their real world cupples, on the contrary, often those have less interactions than the other dynamics ans therfore we are offered such a varried and beautiful display of different relationships. Pike and Grog, Liam and Laura, Vax and Gilmore, Sam and Liam, Vex and Percy, yasha and beau . . . .every single one of them is totaly unique and a joy to watch

The friendship is great, but honestly, the way Travis managed to play that low int brute so insanely well through the vox machina campaign is D&D art almost on par with Mercers own magic. The amount of comedy, heart and and pure brilliance he managed to squeeze out of that half giant was awe inspiring.

yeah he played grog so well like when he got jealous of lionel and scalan he thought it was because he was stupid so in a huff after leaving the first fight he's ever left he walks up to vex and vax and says "C A T CAT" trying to prove he's dumb

Didn't occur to me until literally today but Pike and Grog is probably the best example I've ever seen of a male-female relationship as strong as this one with literally zero sexual tension or feelings.
