A gallon of water is 8.34 pounds. Run 2 different 4 wheelers with no issue and a 25 lb tank. One didn’t have 4 wheel drive and the other never put it in 4 wheel drive. You have a good looking product there. I have never have issue spraying fields or fence lines.

I have a 25 gallon boomless from Ag Spray brand for my honda rancher. It has a hand wand too, but being boomless, i just shut off one outer and the center nozzle, and adjust the other outer nozzle to spray down at an angle and just putz along to spray out fencerows. I only use the hand wand for spot spraying

I learned in the fire service many years ago, fresh water weighs 8.33 pounds per gallon. That puts 208 pounds just in liquid on the rear of the ATV. I felt that was too much for my Honda Rancher so I use the UTV instead. I like the modular product tank which allows keeping the pump and system clean after use. I can relate to your comment about dumping the last bit of mixed chemical in some out of the way location. Thanks for the video.

25X8=200 plus2 gal? in the chemical tank plus weight of the tanks and sprayer rig and pump, so I would guess 250ish pounds on the back of the Honda. Water adds up quick. That is a handy setup for the farm especially considering how you can get extra chemical tanks for other things you want to spray and just grab what you are working with that day and mix on the fly.

Agreed, historically, people just swallow what media tells them, which is a climate change propaganda - driven agenda that demonizes farmers over genetically engineered, fake food. So everything from water runoff to cow farts is considered bad while ignoring (purposely) the damage petroleum-based substances cause. Keep up the great work Josh. People are starting to wake up to the benefits of regenerative farming and ranching.

I’ve had my MOE for a few years now. Only tipsI can give are 1- Don’t leave your chemies in the small tanks and let them sit. There’s a strainer in the top part that disintegrates in certain kinds of products. No idea why (assuming they just used the wrong type of plastic) but it happened with Root Hume, Triclopyr, Hi-Yield Weed Free Zone, and a few others. 2- Make sure you clean out the lines with a sprayer cleaner mix after each use. Otherwise the lines get gunked up and severely restrict the flow, which messes up the application rate. Other than that this thing is pretty awesome!😊

With 5 miles of fence, there is almost no way to weed the line without some chemical. The one you are using is a common ingredient in shampoos. I would like to see how it works for you and how long its effect is.

When I first watched your post I was confused how the system drew the "concentrate" from the upper tank without mixing into the main tank, but I've since watched the demo video on the CHAPIN website showing the 2 separate tanks feeding into the pump via individual hoses. It's just frustrating that ATV & UTV manufacturers and equipment suppliers like CHAPIN don't use some type of waterproof (power) connectors like an anderson or deutch connectors - instead of gator clips with loose wire under the seat to the battery. If ATV's are designed to carry gear & lots of farmers use them - why don't they come with a permanent socket option located in an accessible spot?
@StoneyRidgeFarmer
@StoneyRidgeFarmer 17 дней назад
so....in some cases with electrical conncectors, I've just used a cig lighter outlet, I think having the connections hard wired ends up being a failure point for a manufacturer, especially since some take an ATV and bury it in the mud, while folks like me putt putt around the farm

I think you mean herbicide. There are always going to be different degrees to which “rules” are followed as they pertain to regenerative. What about Stoney Ridge and even Greg Judy…do they get their round bales from sources that are chemical free and don’t over deplete the land they came from? They say they are building soil, but is it at the expense of another piece of land? It gets complicated, but I think calling someone a fraud is a jerk thing to do. You can create content too...I think ya should. I'm of the opinion to never put a man down for earning his living the way he sees fit. If a man can't afford to live.....do what I did! My brother...20 years ago I was living in a trailer park and could barely afford toilet paper...but I didn't blame anyone....I attended college, worked hard and spent my money wisely. "Must be nice" shuts off our minds to the idea that if we work hard, find our station in life and are happy....we will all be successful. I have no control over another man's work ethic or finances....but wealth is a state of mind...not just finances. Every man has control of his own station in life......"must be nice" infers that it's not work and intellect.....I'm hear to tell ya that this is work, and one man's success should never be held against him by another that blames their failures or lack of means on another man who worked hard to get where he is in life. Successful people don't blame other's for their station in life...time to change the way we think my brother.
