To anyone who doesn't give respect to Bruce kulick you are definitely not a pure kiss fan. Bruce is the best, and did it hard for many years when that Réunion tour happened in 1996.
@@petera.michaelsen4657 It's difficult to imagine how any fan would have had a problem with either Bruce or Eric Carr. Both of them gave everything they had to the band and I've never heard a single story of a fan who had a negative experience meeting either of them.
Peter's solo album is one of my favorites and it underrated; does not get the credit it deserves. It's not a great KISS album but it's great and honest Peter Criss album and that's why I love it.
"I'm gonna live you, Kiss the girl goodbye, That's the kind of sugar papa likes, Easy thing." It was a very good record. Peter once said " if my heart's not there, I'm not there." I feel that even though Peter is grateful for the adulation from the crowd & Bruce/band, He is emotionally burned out from the KISS saga. Age has nothing to do with it. He is hurting from what has transpired with Paul. Regardless of his past antics, He loved KISS and it hurts him to the core to see Eric with that makeup on. I understand Paul has His reasons for doing that, but I think it was a bad idea. Both Eric & Tommy should've been their own characters out of respect to their own legacies (that they deserved to have). I love them & they're great, but they are imposters, like it or not. Paul has proved his point 100,000 times over with that move. I hope that Paul/Peter can start talking & begin a real Friendship with each other before it's too late. Paul also once said " having Ace & Peter back is like sleeping with your ex Wife." Maybe KISS is the same, but different. You can always go back to KISS. 💋
What the hell ! Peter plays fine and his voice is golden as always. Time to play with Ace and Bruce MORE for sure. I wish they would do a tour - there is nothing wrong with this rock´n roll. The tempo is not fast but it is the feeling that counts and that sure grooved. I am hooked again.
Love Peter.. sound like he doesnt play at all anymore.. like an old dad picking the sticks after ages.. good fun but a shadow of himself. You can still feel his style behind the rust though.. Long live the Catman!
I was there this past weekend for Creatures Fest.I was so surprised that he done this song.It has been a favorite of mine from the time it was released ❤🥁🐈⬛❤🎶
"Doc said "No you can't cure his soul Once he's infected with the blues" So I travelled 'round from town to town singin' out the news I was vaccinated with a little / victrolla needle And I'm hooked on rock and roll" Great lyrics and great to see these two legends on stage at the same time.
Cool as .. just had listen to my "Best of the Solo Albums" vinyl and thought I'd see if this, song was on used food tube... didn't mind the tempo either.
How big would it be if Bruce Ace and Peter all went on tour together they all three could sing and Bruce could go to base if needed because he's good at that too. 3-piece band you could call them A Touch of Kiss
Peter is a great drummer, don’t believe me try Detroit Rock City, but his vocals are always on point on some of my favourite Kiss songs Black Diamond, Getaway, Strange Ways, Mainline, Hooligan, Baby Driver, Hard Luck Woman, Beth, Hooked on rock and roll and Nothin’ to lose chorus are just some of my favourites.
Creatures fest should be a national tour. I'd see this show before the end of the road tour. This right here is a HUGE part of kiss. Who needs Gene and lip syncing Paul? Gene and Paul maybe the driving force of kiss, but without all these musicians joining kiss for the end of the road. Gene and Paul can kick rocks while Creatures fest is the best ticket to see a killer kiss show, however you want to spin it. But to the beginning of this comment, this fest needs to go national.
I am wondering if they are getting Peter up to speed to do a 2 to 4 song set for the closing dates of the End of the Road Tour. Gene and Paul know good business and to end the last tour with Peter and Ace for 2 to 4 songs would wrap Kiss in a bow.
That is exactly what they been doing brother. Its all going to be one big family. Ace cant hear and Peter can hardly play anymore. Lets see how that works out.
I’m wondering if anyone thinks creature fest turned out to be a big waste of time? Bruce Kulic’s band is awesome there so tight. It’s nice to see all the old guys play, and to give them their honors but was creature fest really worth the money time and effort. I’m sure for some it was. I’m just sayin
This is so different in feel from his record. It is like Peter is just being Lazy about the whole thing. I can understand why Gene would say what he said about Ace and Peter.
It's not surprising given his age that his voice is shot and the tempo of that song is slower than paint drying, but you read through the comments and the amount of delusional people saying how great it is explains how Kiss have continued to sell tickets for years with a croaking/miming lead singer and a performance standard that makes a mockery of their glory days. P T Barnum was right.
Tempo definitely is too slow. His voice isn't shot by a long shot. But his years have taken their toll. It's amazing and heartbreaking at the same time to watch this.
@@leighjoelfierman3705 I can't get past heartbreaking to be honest. Yes, it's amazing that someone of his age can carry a tune at all, but this is not the way I want to hear the guy that used to amaze me singing on Nothin' To Lose or Black Diamond. Same with Paul for that matter, but clearly plenty of people are happy to pay their money and watch the pyro etc and overlook his vocal issues. I just find seeing all of them finish up like this totally heartbreaking compared with what the band I loved used to be like.
I really want to like this because I love Peter Criss but the tempo is just too damn slow, it sounds to draggy… it doesn’t have any sense of urgency to it. I guarantee all the other musicians on stage are thinking the same thing but what can they say?
Yea, he counted them in a little bit slow, and then the way they played the intro threw him. It's hard when you're in a band, one person just can't speed up unless there's an opportunity there to do so. I guessed they'd come out of the lead break playing slightly faster, and that's what happened. Honestly though, Peter should have had the confidence to speed up earlier and know that they'd follow him, he was just a bit unsure, and who knows exactly what he could hear back there.
@@Dave-Rough-Diamond-Dunn Very true, I love Peter criss and classic KISS so I meant no disrespect. I really like this song and his whole 1978 solo album to be honest.
Ian Paice is close to 74, and his drumming is from another world - but of course, he didn’t spend the 70’s and 80’s with the nose deep in a bag of cocaine.
