A shame I have only seen this video now, I would have bought your RCZ. I have bought one today and should be collecting later this week. 2.0HDi too and I take note of your advice and issues, thank you!!
@@davidstuart4915 With a lot of country roads driving and a bit around twon I get around 52mpg which I think is fantastic. On a couple of Motorway journeys it went higher I think around 58 or 60mpg with gentle cruising, will check again next time
I consider it an amazing car, even by the looks and power per £ i’d agree it’s one of the best looking car in it’s price range. Looking into getting 1.6Tp 200BHP version. Love the review.
Aww thank you for the lovely words , The RCZ is an amaing car i loved it and blows the competition such as the Audi TT of the same year out of the water . I think you will love it if you get one if i just had that to keep on top of and not the other projects i would have kept mine but a combination of not doing the miles and needing a worry free car meant i went down the new car lease route as a daily
Got a 156bhp pearlescent white one 9 years old mint condition one lady owner full service history. 73k miles. The negative opinions on them i accepted as theres plenty of other cars out there with similar issues. So far fingers crossed its been great and will keep it serviced yearly no messing arpund. I can relate re anxiety i had a ton of it from my 1 series which was nothing but trouble
I absolutely love the Peugeot RCZ very unusual sports car that stands out love the bubble roof I definitely want to get one when I become a first-time driver anyway great video and great information
They really are an amazing looking car and despite what people say about french cars the interior quality is really good and high end , They drive very well like any car they need maintenance the petrol more so than the diesel , Thank you also for the very kind words
@@keepitreal1547 Hey thank you for the very kind words , I traded mine in at a car dealership for £2k so i took a loss but i have seen them since prices have calmed after the pandemic for around 3K , They are fantastic cars very underrated but i think better than the Audi TT of the same age
Mine was a GT model i believe you had the option of choosing which color leather you wanted at the time of ordering , mine also had the quad rear exhaust system i think this was a dealer fit option rather than something from the factory
on a motorway run i was conformable getting over 60mpg and county roads around 50mpg was very impressed with the fuel economy , only thing to note is mine at 2012 was not ULEZ or CAZ compliant even though it had a DPF
It was the only thing on the diesel that can go especially if lots of short trips are done is the injector seals so you start to notice a diesel smell in the cab mine had done well over 100k when they went but its a costly ans specialist job it cost me over £700 , other wise that diesel engine is well proven and can go on for ever
@@vladislavfeldman6562 Absolutely the HDI engine is very robust , mine suffered from injector seals but i think that was more do do with the build up from short trips in its previous life
