A Pflugerville speech pathologist says she's out of a job because of a state law banning Texas agencies from doing business with companies that boycott Israel. STORY: bit.ly/2QHzUVW
It's not at all a complicated topic. Texas is requiring a loyalty oath to Israel as a condition of employment. That's wrong, illogical, unconstitutional.
@@FORTHEBY_BY Quran 5:8 "O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm for Allah, witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is [fully] Aware of what you do."
AS usual...when the world falls asleep, the bugs invade....and this is what happens. How many citizens of the planet died for the right of free speech......We should all consider supporting this LONE woman.
My loyality is to the Texas Constitution not Israel. Well, the Attorney General says that you can say what you want and boycott whomever you want you just can't use state money to make the statement. I assume that means that the Texas States Teacher Retirement or state contracts may be involved some Israeli companies. Probably investments in the pension fund and/or some israeli company is minding some prison or something. Well, I think that people who put money in their retirement fund should have a right to ask that none of their retirement fund be invested in Israeli companies or, God forbid!, companies that work for the interventionist Pentagon. There should be a war-free and apartheid-free retirement fund option.
These are the top 10 companies in texas, boycott accordingly: Foxconn Assembly LLC, Houston TX Pizza Hut ATT Keller Williams Realty Carlson Restaurants Dell Electronic Data Systems American Airlines Livestock Investors Tenet Healthcare
To state that via contract/legislation/joint resolution that I may not AVOID doing business with a certain entity or party is to state that I MUST do business with a certain entity or party. Keep this up and one day a competent Pro Se will take this nonsense all the way to the Federal Supreme Court and expose such fraudulent claims.
