I've got one of the quad lock-out mounts coming with a release paddle, only 7 beer tokens. Have an old Nokia that i'll be using for gps/maps with it. Fingers crossed. :) Also have a small on/off latching button that will be hidden and wired into the brake sensor. So if anyone tries to ride it off, it will think the brakes are pulled in and not power the motor. A little extra security can't hurt.
My wife and I have been using Quadlock cases in our iPhones and I keep my case on all the time. Totally secure attachment but not cheap. We ride rail trails and river walks but also mild to moderate single track.
Thank you for watching Jeff. I normally use a Posiko phone mount which holds very well as well. When I saw the price on this, I just had to go ahead and grab it and see how it was. If you’re riding, mild single track, It will be plenty tighten up for that. the quad lock is very good as well, I was just always a little leery about having to have a case that may not fit my next phone.
