My favorite fact about Phyllis Schlafly is that a couple of her relatives opened a brewery in St. Louis called Schlafly Beer. They were locked in a legal battle with her and her son for years over the name trademark, and in 2018, after she died, her estate lost the legal battle and the brewery was allowed to hold the trademark on the name. Now, at least around St. Louis, "Schlafly" is pretty much only associated with a really good beer instead of the horrible dead wretch.

My favorite fact about Phyllis is that she (and her husband) were connection to Ukrainian Nazi Orgs that had an active role in shaping the Nazification of Ukraine today. Like the 9 circles of hell, the layers go: The Schlaflys - joining with the *National Captive Nations Committee* (chaired by Lev Dobriansky and *Yarislov Stetsko) - who are members of the *Assembly of Captive European Nations* - who teamed up with Raphael Lempkin (COUGH COUGH) when coming up with the phrase “Genocide…” to the U.N, as early as 1948… Have a nice day.🙂

1:14:54: Funny that you mention not knowing what an eagle sounds like, because it seems like nobody else does either. The popular screech that is used all the time isn't an eagle, it's a red-tailed hawk. Eagles have a much more high-pitched musical call that sounds like something from a much smaller, cuter bird.

FUN FACT I researched her way back in 2011 for a drama piece, we looked at mother/ maiden/ crone as archetypes and ideals of feminine and also the false idea that things are always getting better. I was maiden, and took on Phyllis when we spoke of feminist ideals: crone was Emmeline Pankhurst and mother Virginia Woolf Kinda trying to express the fear of reactionism way back when. 25:58 Well, actually: fighting fire with fire does work when people use controlled burning to create extensive enough fire break zones. If a large enough area is already burned, a grass/bush fire will stop moving in that direction because it has nothing to feed on there and the fire break is too broad for the fire to jump. I don't know how well fire breaks work against full blown forest fires - theoretically they should, but they would need to be clearly broader than how tall the tallest trees in the area are.

1:14:48 That’s ok Caelan, most people don’t know what an eagle actually sounds like, because movies and shows that have eagles in them dub over the footage with hawk cries. Eagles sound more like chirpy little songbirds than birds of prey, and that’s not tough enough for us murcans.
