That Dracula looks a lot like Ty Burrell (Modern Family). I know it couldn't be him though unless he is a real vampire because that game came out in 1982.

That Dracula tabletop looks great. Cool pickups thanks for sharing them. I did pick up a couple new things recently. I got a working RCA Studio II console something I’ve been wanting for a while and Humans for Genesis at the Seattle Retro Gaming Expo.

My eyes nearly fell out of my head when I saw that Dracula game. I collect Vampire stuff. I've got a ridiculous number of things. Old P.C. games for DOS, the Commodore Vic 20, even the ZX Spectrum, along with console games of many eras but I never knew something like that even existed. I need that more than I can express. As for video game related scores I've been expanding my Dreamcast collection and recently got Resident Evil: Code Veronica and E.G.G. (Elemental Gimmick Gear). I'm currently in the middle of Skies of Arcadia for the Dreamcast but look forward to trying those games out in the near future.

Cool additions :) Jai Alai always remindes me from Miami Vice TV-series which had an episode about Jai Alai player. Looking forward to see your Pong collection video. I have a one Pong clone as well, a Conic TVG 201-4 which I got in late 70's but no Jai Alai in this one. My most notable addition lately is Lotus Trilogy for Commodore Amiga. Other than than, a PS2 demo disc or a coverdisc from a Playstation magazine I think. Then some old 80's computer magazines, for example Your Sinclair magazine from 1986.

Those tin TV trays were really cool. seeing that one really unlocked a new memory I had completely forgotten. Really impressive grab on the Ms.Pac Man one considering the very prestine quality of it.

My best pickup was a master system and like maybe 10 games free.

Castlequest is amazing, if your game came with a map it has the entire game mapped out with arrows everywhere showing what paths to take since you can waste keys and not make it to the end presumably. Some puzzle rooms near the end are insane and make you feel like a genius once you figure them out. 3:55 if you can't jump to lure the fireball to kill you there is some button combo to die and start a room over.

I have that Coleco Telstar, it had a bad adjusting knob to select the games. A little WD 40 Eletronics cleaner and it works! Recently I picked up Quarth for the Famicom, LOZ Link To the Past which I never owned and a physical release of Retrocore for Switch.

Had a friend growing up that didn't have video games but he had that Dracula game. We spent too many hours playing that game in the dark during our sleepovers

That Dracula tabletop game looks cool. Not long ago this year, I bought an NES Metroid themed coffee mug on Amazon, it's cool. But lately, I'm starting to really want a Switch because of the new Zelda: Link's Awakening game coming out soon. I used to have Link's Awakening on the Gameboy when I was a kid, and now I want to experience the remake.

That Dracula mobile is a great find! I played something similar looking based on Popeye in like 1988. That glowy screen technology is how games looked back then, but it gave me severe vertigo... I can read a little Japanese. Your Hello Kitty cartridge says "Sanrio Carnival 2".

Cool pickups Erin! Yep, Shinobi is shockingly bad on the NES. It's pretty cool you have it in the box though. I have both of those Tiger handhelds as well, two of about 75 Tiger handhelds that I have, and I love that Ms. Pac-Man tray! I got a couple of cool things lately like Kid Klown on the NES which is insanely rare, a couple of manuals for NES games that I had in the box like Snake's Revenge, Alfred Chicken and Darkwing Duck, a box for Popeye for the NES and for Mole Mania on the Gameboy, a couple of rare Tiger handhelds like The Perils of Mickey Mouse and RoboCop 3 and some rare Konami handhelds, Top Gun the Second Mission and the Lone Ranger. Officially back from Disney now so I can catch up on your streams in a little while!

I'm only 1.5 hours from Too Many Games, and yet every year I find an excuse to not go. Like oh I'm broke, or oh I don't need any games right now, or oh I'm too tired...But dammit no more excuses, I will attend in 2020.

I went to TMG as well. In the last moments I was able to buy a Tomy Pyuuta console CIB, which I walked past all weekend without noticing it. I never heard of the system until that moment. Aparently it existed in the US as the Tomy "Tutor," but it flopped. Earlier in the convention, I bought a complete Odyssey 2 system.

I really dig Castlequest! It's tricky until you get used to it, which took me even longer, because I had to first figure out that it was more puzzle-focused than anything. I can't think of anything that I've played that's quite like it; most things that are even close have just one puzzle per room, and they're all separate, but this has both that and the larger puzzle of the whole castle to figure out. If you're having trouble finding anything on it, because of its generic name, it's also known as Castle Excellent. Jai-Alai (High All-Eye) is that sport that you may have seen, where people bounce a ball against a wall with those long, claw-like things that are like a cross between a lacrosse stick and a wicker basket. I don't know much about the rules or anything, but I remember first seeing it on that old episode of The Simpsons, where Mr. Burns gets a blood transfusion from Bart.

Jai alai ("hi e lie") is the South American game where you wear a scoop on your hand and whip the ball around, somewhat like lacrosse. The game has been played in South America since ancient times, and the ball can accelerate to deadly speeds (a once world-record was almost 200mph, over 300kph!)

I like the Nes shinobi because I’m a hardcore shinobi fan and appreciate it for what it is. It can be beat I’ve beaten it

Cosmic Conflict and Take The Money and Run. Anecdote time. In what may well be my earliest existing memory, my dad made an impulse purchase of an Odyssey 2 and a half dozen games. Those were two of them. He never bought any further games, nor did he even play the thing after that first day (he's really not a game playing kind of person). I'd say it's quite a coincidence that you ended up with two of the few games I owned, but the reality is there were only a dozen or so titles available for a while, and I'd gauge that Odyssey 2 owners tended to end up with a lot of the same libraries. A related factoid that really blew me away was that there was a (backwards compatible) sequel to the Odyssey 2 released in Europe called the Videopac+ G7400 that had 4x the resolution, although the rest of its capabilities were pretty much the same, meaning the games were astonishingly limited, especially given that the Colecovision was a year old by then and the Famicom released, amazingly, the _same year._ Imagine releasing basically an Odyssey 2 (conspicuously inferior even to the Atari 2600) the same year as the NES. Like a product from a different era.

Shinobi on the NES was interesting due to the fact that it was even on that system especially as it was a Sega game and that Sega already had the Master System out on the market

I’m playing dragon quest 8 it’s my new favorite rpg. I recommend it. You can even play it on the phone that’s how I’m playing. It’s even in hd and the controls are pretty good for mobile games

A word(or two) of advice as regards the Odyssey2: many of the games are best enjoyed with two players. This includes Blockout!/Breakdown!, Monkeyshines! and Smithereens! Also, some games really improve with the add-on, especially Smithereens! While a lot of fans would steer you towards the Master Strategy series of board/video game hybrids (i.e., Quest for the Rings!, Conquest of the World!, and The Great Wall Street Fortune Hunt!), these are mostly interesting as curiosities. A word of advice if you play Quest for the Rings!: choose the Changeling and the Phantom. The games to definitely play are the arcade-style Challenger series, although K.C.'s Crazy Chase! and Freedom Fighters! are games you can skip, in my opinion. Keep in mind that they may look kind of like this arcade game or that, they have completely different gameplay. Playing, say, Pick Axe Pete! like it's Donkey Kong is a sure way to die again and again with a score in the hundred range instead of over a thousand. If you'd like some strategy tips, let me know.
