This story actually hit surprisingly close. I remember a troll I hated so much, and I eventually found his name and current city, until I found out he was just a kid in school. I stopped before I went to far, but people need to know that if you cyberbully or target troll one person, they can find you.

If you're smart about it you could become relatively anonymous with a bit of work and make a fake profile not linked to you in any way and message him his Name and Address along with something creepy like "If I find you online again you'd be sorry." or maybe something that sounds less violent, but you get the idea. It's most likely illegal and I don't condone it, but... Ya know...

I knew from pretty early on that darkpainter97 would be the guardian angel, but that last twist was really fantastic and unexpected. It was also perfectly paced, written, and very atmospheric as usual. Vincent V. Cava is an amazing writer. And I'm not just saying that so that I won't be murdered. .

It's interesting, the guardian angel thing, because it actually plays into the story. Remember, he said he leaves obvious mistakes to find victims. Showcases how amazing an author Vincent is.

I feel like this is the exact story that MrCreepyPasta was born to narrate. The voice acting is so fantastic that I am fully immersed in the story by the first sentence. A well-written narrative and a skilled actor makes this one of my favorite creepypastas.

I’m usually pretty picky with the creepypastas I listen to, but I actually kind of like this one (ironic). I did have a problem with guessing correctly who the guardian angel was, but the story didn’t end there and it actually got better. I mean, I still don’t know why he turned into a troll after trying to help someone not to commit suicide, but even Ted Bundy worked for a suicide hotline in college before being a serial killer. 🤷‍♀️ Another problem I did pick up quickly was that the first thing the kid did after getting out of his blackout in the middle of a stranger’s apartment was to mock his abductor. XD Yeah. Great idea, kid.

Pffft...like I'd be so easy to find. I don't use social media. I have a Facebook I haven't updated in about five years, never included my address in it anyway. It also says I have a daughter in...Sweden, I think. Or was it Norway? She's just a goofy friend who put me down as her father for laughs. I responded in kind. Had a twitter once. It got hacked, so I shut it down and never bothered with another. That hacking, by the way, is why I stopped with it in the first place. I don't even know of any other types of social media these days. All that said, great story!

Bluesit32 Thanks for making a long post so I didn't feel bad about creating this monster :D It's not just social media tho. IP addresses and paper trails (credit and debit cards, cell phone numbers/plans, basic papers u need to access job employment and schooling) can be followed like cookie crumbs to your identity. Hell even logging on or plugging the computer u r using has risk. In short it's impossible to live off the grid unless you become a new person like the main character did so: No One is Safe O_O *laughs evilly as thunder cackles in the background* Btdubz I didn't learn any of that in school. It's in alot of media nowadays as if the message is becoming more and more important :/
