"You lost your chance to be victims" might be the most powerful quote in response of those that want to water down this situation that I've seen so far.
They aren't victims. A lot of the victims are quiet. The loud ones don't know what evil is until they've actually argued with a Transphobe, which I have, and they weren't like, a stranger on the internet. They were friends. Family. These fakers ruin it for everybody. Transgender people, those transitioning, they don't want to be victims. They just want to live. People buying Hogwarts aren't paying or condoning J.K Rowling's behavior. They couldn't do it even if they wanted to. Most just want to play a game. It sickens me how much hate I've been seeing lately. Twitter is basically a hate crime syndicate at this point. Elon should have shut it down.
Give me a break. People of the alphabet community are NOT victims when they are essentially the modern aristocracy class. World governments, institutions, corporations bend over backwards and give them preferential treatment at every turn.
6:00 I believe it went like this > Pikamee is burnt out and takes a break > She considers graduating > Her agency-mates and management make/help her change her mind about graduating > She agrees to continue but will take it easy for now > She is motivated and excited to stream again > Announces her come-back stream > Gets viciously bullied by no-lifes on Twitter > Breaks down > Decides to actually graduate
If that is the case then I can't help but question the competency of the management. Like, did it not occur to anyone that a vtuber on the verge of graduating and one weak to bullying at that might wanna stay away from the game at the center of a large internet shitstorm? Did nobody ask Pikamee "Are you sure you wanna play this one?"
@@2712animefreak At the same time, this fckin situation shouldn't exist in the first place. These activists should not be given that kind of platform or power.
For the people saying that she was going to graduate before she got harassed on stream, that DOES NOT tone down the situation. If anything, that's even WORSE cause you basically sped up her graduation.
those people are type that bullying other until the victim commit suicide and when got call out immidly call us grifter/over react or gaslighting saying that the victim was sad before their bullying and it has nothing to do with them when in fact they are the guilty one

Congratulations on bullying somebody out of their livelihood and thousands of people out of their entertainment. Somebody who was never complicit in any wrongdoing, period. I hope there will be massive backlash to the ones responsible for this.
TBH this time it affected somebody you know. But these activists, who Sutorippu described in a tweet a while ago, do this kind of thing to people regularly. They have done this to plenty of artists, tried to do the same to several streamers, and it all began with a cake.

@@bashamd96 That would just mean she doesn't want to quit but sees herself forced to do so to protect people she cares about, that makes things *worse.* And while that wouldn't be the first time, I will assume she's retiring until I see she didn't.
Do not believe those who preach tolerance yet do not practice it. They are the wolves in sheep’s clothing. We have tolerated these Twitter “activists” for long enough.
I find it almost funny because the person who plays Pikamee, we thankfully know, is still alive and good health now, and that we're calling this is the last & final straw tolerating the harrassment and bullying from people claiming victimhood, considering how many other people's lives that we're aware of having been lost & taken from this world because of their tyraid. It's no secret that THAT group would even shun & throw their own kind under the bus if they so much as DARE speak up against the corruption in their community/step out of line, meanwhile they shield and offer asylum to the bad actors and horrendous people who are criminals, but because they identity as an "oppressed & marginalized" person, it prevents them from recieving their due just punishment. I'm with you. These people must pay, and I don't even watch Pikamee that much (just a few stream clips now and then), but she has something that I'm sure MANY of us have experienced at some point in our lives and can come to an collective agreement on: we hate bullies, especially the ones who feel entitled and self-righteous in their degeneracy, but crumple like a paper tiger when they're rightly called out (although that IS usually the fun part that's the most cathartic).
Tolerance is still good; it's pretty much the opposite of being a bully. The problem is twitter bullies aren't being tolerant, compassionate, and empathic. We should be kind, whether that be to trans people just wanting to live their lives, or to vtubers just wanting to play a game.
That group of people who bullied and that harassed her over a Harry Potter game she didn't even get a chance to play are evil people. She was one of the sweetest Vtubers, and she will be missed when she's gone 😞. I hope she comes back one day like Kson.
I hope so to, if Vshojo was smart they give a few months and open the door for her, but I wouldn't blame her because the Western bullies have become as bad as her Japanese bullies, being an asshole to her for little shit. I'm also not suprised she got bullied from what I've learned how collectivist Japan can be, picking over itty-bitty differences, and that she had natural blonde hair. To many that would make, understandably, the boys in your class maybe take too much attention into you and the girls talk badly about you because you were taking too much attention away from them. Its worse though because she didn't ask to be born mixed, nor stuck between two different worlds if you will- she just wanted to make people happy and have them happy she was around. And I get people grow out of those cruel things they did inHS cause they're lashing out not knowing who or what they should be, but the ones that don't. The ones who harass people the loudest after crying the loudest, are the ones who saw a chance to bully someone who was much more successful and beloved than they might ever be.
Honestly, and personally, if there isn't a big push back or consequences for these obvious harassment campaigns, the freaks will just be emboldened to keep doing it.
People simply can't be overcome by the hate and misery from these twitter-freaks. The only way to render these monsters as irrelevant is to regard them as irrelevant and to tell them so. We can't allow them to believe that they matter.
You're about 10 years late to this war they've been waging on popular culture. You might even call it a "culture war". Some of us get made fun of for pushing back against the woke mob who make the conservative christian moms in the 90s look like your best buddy. But you're welcome to join in the chorus of voices speaking against them.
@@yohannbiimu Sure, of course. But you can take hate and misery out of the equation and still take a stance. And from what I've seen in this community at least, trying to make these people and what they say as irrelevant has been the current mo/approach for some time now, and I just don't see it working. In fact, I think it has gotten even worse, and I suspect that the freaks know that they can get away with it, because the backlash will be minimal at the end of the day, which brings me to my previous point from before, which will only serve to embolden them to keep harassing streamers and people who just want to have fun.
The dumpster fire reaction to her graduation literally made me stop using Twitter. It breaks my heart to see what she had to go through and the intense harassment. She's so innocent and pure and did nothing to deserve this.
Very rarely do I give a damn about Twitter drama... That being said this situation actually makes me uncomfortably angry. The fact that the very people who desperately claim they're "fighting against hatred" can be so openly hateful to a completely unrelated person for an entirely unrelated reason and not realize the insanity of it all just makes my stomach turn.
Not just that but they'd also think doing that makes them the good guy, they could've bullied her into suicide for just talking about wanting to play a game and they would still think it was a good thing to do and everyone else is bad. Fuck these trans fuckers.
Yeah those same people this week faked a self ending and then tried to blame silvervale and her fans for it. Taking supposed tragedy and trying to twist it for their own gains.

Don't keep this to yourself, talk about this with other people because everyone else is tired about it too. Gaming has always been a safeplace for the bullied and social outcasts. The alphabet people understand the importance of safe spaces and the panic induced by triggers and trauma. I do consider the LGBT community deserves blame. That doesn't include every single individual in that community. In addition, it includes plenty of people outside of it (the so-called "allies"). Those who hate on J. K. Rowling are part of the problem. Not only she did not deserve it, but that also allowed things to escalate to the point where people now get bullied and harassed for playing a game. Unfortunately, the sane voices in the community are either a minority or they are too afraid to speak up. There's currently no more toxic, hateful, and feared group on the internet than trans-activism (once again, I'm not including every trans activist, let alone individual). Everyone is terrified to speak their minds, at the risk of upsetting activists. It's perfectly normal for Rowling and other people to question some of trans-activism dogmas, because they have a tremendous impact on how we interact as a society. These ideas are not common sense, they are worthy of debate. Yet trans-activists don't tolerate that, they only accept full compliance. You either agree with them completely, point by point, or they label you as a person who hates trans people, who denies their existence, who doesn't care if they die, and who puts their lives at direct danger. That way of thinking is extremely radical, and I don't know how anyone can be surprised about harassment and bullying when those are the perceptions being instilled in people.
Man, you switched back and forth between blaming groups and blaming individuals a lot. The LGBT+ community is not responsible for this. Hate mobs of self- righteous Twitter activists, most of whom aren’t even trans, are responsible. And people in the LGBT+ community do not have to prove that they denounce the actions of the Twitter freaks. Think about how you feel when men, or white people, or gamers, or whatever group you belong to, are collectively blamed for something you had no part in.
The majority of the community was always a problem, but everyone ignored the slippery slope arguments until the literal hand ful of sane ones got the power the majority wanted. This girl giving up her dream is the consequence.
The best way to describe these bullies comes Doctor Who is the Zygon war episode. "You just want cruelty to beget cruelty. You're no superior to people who were cruel to you. You're just a whole bunch of new cruel people. A whole bunch of new cruel being cruel to some other group of people who will end up being cruel to you."
If this tragically somehow leads Pikamee to commit self harm or worse out of being depressed then it’s all out war. It’s absolutely possible to find the people that did this, and if something awful happens to Pikamee then there must be violent retaliation
One point you never touched was how many of us nerds usually has been the recipient of bullying during their junior or high school, this also cuts really deep. We supposed to be adults and this is supposed to be behind us, yet here it is taking away thing we love AGAIN. That's something I haven't seen covered that I think should, it would help explain some of the raw emotions going around this.
This means the hateful Twitter freak bullies win. I had not been a fan, not knowing much about VTubers, but I was prepared to be a fan and support her, because she deserves it.
Ironically enough, the people who were accusing Pikamee for being transphobic are the ones who are making people more angry towards trans people. I hope Pikamee is able to live a peaceful life and stay friends with all her former coworkers.
I don't see other explanation other than harassment, she leaves for one month, returns tweeting the first stream back will be HL and with no graduation anouncement, gets harassed out of that and into another month of MIA, returns to announce she will graduate, I can't see other explanation and maybe she did have another stuff Goin on but we all know what made her decide to leave was that shit, I'm sad we lose her in this way and will support her till the last day but this isn't the way to go, i can support her and be mad at the same time
Can we make the cry bullies genuinely cry? You know, just want to talk with them. Overall Rev, it doesn’t matter how anyone of us responds or ignore them, they will cry and cry and cry their crocodile tears.
True, and journalists will defend their actions or worse. Claim otherwise. I'm already seeing Kotaku, and Resetera writing articles saying Transphobes attack innocent victims over having a peaceful dialogue about Hogwarts Legacy.
So update to all of this: Gyari (owner of VOMS) streamed earlier today. In the chat there was a dedicated translator. According to what was translated, Pikamee and VOMS had been in talks about her graduating for "a long, long time." Didn't want to specify how long ago this was (which I get he probably doesn't want to speak for her but it's not exactly definitive), nor whether or not this was before or after the HL drama ("a long time" could technically, if unlikely, be a couple of weeks to a month ago, though I get most people will infer it as it being January or even sometime last year). Doesn't exactly help giving the timing of everything, but if Pikamee was deciding on graduating prior to all of this drama, then I am hoping that she'll have at least one more month of positivity and enjoyment before calling it a day. Ultimately up to her if she wants to talk about her graduating and if the HL drama and any impact on her deciding to do so or not. Still a damn shame that she was harassed and bullied for even announcing she was going to play it, and then was radio silent for the rest of February, but again it's up to her if she wants to talk about it, or spend her last month enjoying her time w/ friends and fans.
@@nise512 same, im still working things out on what i want to identify as, and i fucking love pikamee... i watch about every clip compilation i can find cause i just dont have time often to catch streams, but for me it feels like walls closing in on all sides, cause on one hand we lose pikamee, while on another, despite me never saying a single thing anywhere nor the thought of harassment ever crossing my mind, i will now get lumped in with those assholes who toss death threats, because nuance is lost upon the internet. what a terrible fucking day and last month its been
@@nise512 Was gonna say most of the people tweeting hate about this shit have been trans but that doesnt make what you said incorrect lol. It is a small portion of the trans community and the others are your "allies", sadly this is a horrid look for the trans community and there isnt much you can do to combat this. I do respect you fine individuals for being on the side of logic though, hope these losers stop dragging your identity through the ground. Hell I'm not even "on your side" but this whole situation is fucked up. Good luck fam!
I just discovered her. She seems like one of the nicest persons on the internet I know (of course we'll never know what she's like in real life). I just can't believe people like that get bullied for a fucking video game. I just wish her the best
^ exactly this. i don't fear them either, personally i never cared about them to begin with, why in the fuck would i be a "phobe" of people i couldn't care less about? that logic makes no sense mate.
I fear people who get offended on others' behalf. Transgenders? Idgaf what they do, just keep it away from my kids. Don't try and convince my children they were somehow born in the wrong body. Don't shove your ideology into my child's brain. The LGBT's whole thing started with "Why do you care what we do in our bedrooms" to "Your children *must* know what goes on in our bedrooms." It's gone too far at this point, and it's going to get worse. JK Rowling did nothing wrong.
I told you if she graduates things will go south and now there is blood in the water this will not end well remember who shot first tho Also Bless Mii-chan her tweet was a good sentiment
There are literally people declaring war on Twitter against all trans people , up to and including fucking HITLER/NAZI shit. Yeah, buckle up. We’re in for a shitstorm..
I would say it, I do NOT care what would happen to that community anymore. The 'silent majority' who knows what is going on decided to stay silent and allowed the 'vocal minority' to become the vocal majority sickens me.
Pikamee has been an amazing ambassador for the vtuber community and her content has always brought a smile to many people's faces. The community will be lesser with her absence.
