The older games were less friendly, and the kaizo version seems almost like a bullet hell at times

It's basically more difficult enemies in spots where you wouldn't find them in the main game; If you're good at playing Pikmin 2, a person should have no problem playing this Pikmin 2 hack...

I started with Pikmin 3 as well, I then played 1 and found it pretty easy. To be fair, the only thing the Kaizo lacks is the random rocks falling from the ceiling.

Sublevel 15 was ROUGH Also, the Man-At-Legs is clearly the most terrifying enemy to fight in the whole franchise imo. It would have been a nightmare if you had to deal with two of them at the same time in the final floor...

I just noticed the Hocotate Ship is golden in the menu. I guess the flag to make it golden there is 10000 Pokos rather than the debt being paid off.

It seems like Beady long legs hitbox is still on the ground even though you can't see him yet, the bomb rocks from the flying enemies can damage him, which is why he instantly died when he came down. I've had a run where I just used those bomb rocks to kill a beady and the hitbox to hurt him is very generous. This hack is great cause there is a lot of weird interactions that you probably won't ever see in the normal game.

I guessing because it's triggering hitbox the one that makes it spawn is also it's hitbox for just explosions is my guess is how it's coded to be

I think that Gattling Groink at the later part of the video was getting all jittery due to his social anxiety. Don’t worry buddy, it happens to the best of us. You’ll be demolished by Purps soon anyways!

19:23 It looks like buried treasure spawns at ground level regardless of enemy position. This is assuming you reset before killing that groink immediately after. This does raise the question of what would happen if it tried to spawn a buried treasure outside of a tile, where there's presumably no defined ground level? Do they have a check for if getTile(x, y) returns NULL basically.

I had went back and gotten it, I included it in the treasure guide of the submerged castle vid, but felt that 20 minute detour was kind of irrelevant in these videos, same with bulblax kingdom

i know this is old, but oh man... it felt infuriating to watch sometimes because those grattling groinks or whatever are so easy to deal with. but you just kept your pikmin on them until they shook them. like, easily could've whistled your pikmin back to you, and then just re-throw them on still, fun to watch though, lol!

"In Challenge Mode's Secret Testing Range, if a Gatling Groink is allowed to regenerate after it dies, it will sometimes come back as a sped up version that walks and shoots four times faster than normal. This can also occur during the End Of Day sequence." is what the wiki says ive read it before first time seeing it, its a shame it never started shooting though
