Good lord I'm 23 and the waterwraith still makes me shit my pants to the point that I just leave the floor once it spawns and go through the castle twice if I need to. Props.
The bikmin 269 mod turns the model into crazy frog, complete with his invisible motorcycle. Truly a pants shititng experience, just like seeing the waterwraith for the first time.
Honestly, trying to collect the treasures using whites while evading the wraiths is such a cool way to play the cave... a real metal gear moment for sure!
Here's what I do when I don't clear a floor before the Waterwraith arrives: I have one captian take all the Pikmin and finish collecting the treasures, while the other captain distracts the Waterwraith.
Also, this version of Submerged Castle looks like something out of a Creepypasta. Like when you enter a cave that wasn’t even there before in the original Pikmin 2 game, there is nothing but darkness. An empty sublevel with no enemies, no eggs, no treasures, no candypop buds, not even any obstacles at all. All you do hear is the dreaded Submerged Castle music. And it is all one big maze! After only a few seconds, several Waterwraiths come from the sky and chase you around as you frantically struggle trying to find the exit! Desperate to get Olimar, Louie & the Pikmin out of the hole to safety! Until you realize, there is no escape and get insta killed by them as they steamroll you and your army.
We're onto Pikmin 4 and I *still* do not feel like they've managed to recapture the absolute insane level of _magic_ that was felt when going through Pikmin 2
You should have made the whites bring the battery and the can would be pushed at the same time for a bit, it wouldn't slow them down so you could have saved a bit of time

Dude, please lol Caves have no time limit. You could have just left your white pikmin in the ground until they grew flowers. Mega speed white. (The spicy sprays don't work the same in Kaizo, right? Like, speed wise. Cause if so? Flowers+spice would be like attaching rockets to them XD)
