This is so true. Nagulat ako sa taas nang triglycerides ko last week. 870 🫣😱 nag surgery kasi ako last month kaya limited activities ko...pero okay na ako ngayon...and then nag check ako nang triglycerides ko it was whopping 870...inalis ko kagad rice, bread and sugar sa diet ko...for one week. Yesterday, nag blood test ulit ako...130 na lang sya tapos nag improved HDL ko...ang range nang tryglycerides dito sa US is below 150....from now on limit ko na ang rice, bread, and sugar ko.... Ang kinakain ko na lang little chicken, salad, and quinoa. And then I'm back working out...
paano po ginawa nyo para pababain ang triglycerides nyo po kasi po ako ngaun nag pa blood test ako nag 750 triglycerides ko at ang cholesterol ko is 213
Good job Dr. Jo ang galing mo mag explain. Since i follow Dr. Fung & Dr. Berg. Beat diabetes nakaya ko mag fasting 18 hrs. Mahirap sya sa umpisa pero kapag nasanay k n parang balewala n lng. At kapag nasubrahan ako kumain sumasakit n tyan ko. But fasting are very good for those who had diabetes.
Effective talaga sa akin ang low carb.18 months ako hindi kumain ng kahit anong carbs bumawas ang timbang ko ng 20kilos. kaya lang umitim ako kasi balat ko lumuwag kaya kumain uli ako ng rice bumalik muli ang timbang ko pero na glow ang skin ko.

Thank u for this great info. Ang dami sa ating mga kababayan na kailangan ang ganitong health education. Ang diet ng karamihan ay sobrang carbs intake & takot sa taba. Kaya dito sa US ang taas ng Diabetes & Cardiovascular dse. I thank my friends who mentioned to me about intermittent fasting 16/8. I started since 2019 & I am not looking back. I became lean , muscular ( workout 4 days a week), healthy (labs are normal) by maintaining on low carb/ mod-high fat diet.
@@robertbeato988 di pa rin. Brown/ white rice pag na breakdown sa system natin naging glucose pa rin. Reason i-avoid sugar/ carbs ay to prevent ur blood sugar & Insulin to spike. Elevated cholesterol di concerning kung ok lang ang HDL , Triglycerides mo. A1C ay 5.6 & below kung wala kang diabetes.Dapat ang triglycerides to HDL ratio is 2 & below. Goal mo ang triglycerides is below 100 & HDL 50 & above. I think may food lists sila Dr kung ano dapat ang pwedeng kainin at bawal kainin.

When i learned my liver is nafl immediately my body just shutdown all food has no appetite. Yes im hungry but i just drink water. Until i send my lab result to my sister who is a nurse in saudi. Advise me to watch your chanel on keto diet. Thats why its easy for me to fast. Im on my 5 day of omad. Doing research all the time. I started to do low carb for my husband with a high triglycerides and elevated sgot. Quit hard for him but im doing it slowly. Thanks for your food list Dra. It helps a lot

My age is 57 ...my blood sugar 2019 is 167...at 2020 to 2021 what I've eaten is corn instead of white rice my blood sugar goes down to 147 year 2021 my blood sugar always 145 even how i skip from sweet....I've done life without rice almost two months...the results is very good...i sleep good... I feel happy and energetic... i didn't feel hungry... My feeling is my body is light now not like before that I don't want to do some house chores... And today I'm planning to start my fasting at 19 hours... it's my 2nd day of 19 hours fasting very nice I didn't feel hungry anytime not like those days that you have carbs in your diet...you feel always craving...now no more craving even 19hours fasting... I practice intermittent fasting for 2 months now 16/8 formula with low carb diet, doing my morning run 4 times a week at least 1 hour per session which I log 10 km. From 100 kilos at present 85 kilos.. still 15 kilos to go😊
2019 nagkaroon akong pneumonia. Ang weight ko nun nasa 62kg height ko lang ay 5ft1. Kaya over weight po talaga ako. Ang nangyari nagKeton ako kasi wala na akong gana kumain gawa ng sakit kong pneumonia. Ayaw akong iadmit kasi hindi raw ako nilalagnat kahit nanghihina ako. Bigla ang pagbaba ng timbang ko for 3 months 62 to 52 .. pero tumaba na ulit ako ngayon 😆

Hi Good morning Doc. Ko I appreciate it so much watching your videos since August and tried the lowcarb diet but not fasting. I am already 64 yrs old with hypertension and having my medicines for maintenance what I want to ask if doing lowcarb diet is it ok that I am still taking my maintenance. Lowcarb diet for me is very effective from 80kgs now I am 67 kls. When I did the lowcarb diet I did not consult my doctor I just follow because I know that I am eating nutritional foods without carbs and sweets and softrinks I eat only those foods that I watch in your videos. Please Doc. Jo if you have time to answer me I would appreciate it very much. Thank you so much that I'ved learned so many things when it comes to lowcarb/fasting and healing. Let me answer your questions. For hypertension YES you have to take your medicine everyday for life. For your other maintenance tablets. You didn't specify what are they for so it's hard to answer that. Low carb/ fasting and regular exercise are the best way forward to live a healthy and longer life
