A quick and dirty look at Pinball FX in its Early Access state. Tired of the same gaming experience? Want something completely different? Play Quantum Tripper for free on Steam Early Access: store.steampowered.com/app/19...
Xsolla hardlocks the game on several configurations. It leaves a .sav file in your APPdata folder that will prevent you from launching the game even with a complete reinstall. Manually delete the file user\AppData\Local\PinballFX\Saved\SaveGames\XsollaLoginSaveSlot.sav and the game should launch again.
Zen recently added the traditional achievements that existed in FX3 (I believe they have added about 30 of them) in the last update to FX. They're the same steps to achieve them as in FX3.
Yep, same. I find it so incredibly scummy how studios will lock their game off to the vast majority of pc users who dont like epic, all for a quick payday. Its like treating the whole game making process as a get rich quick scheme, not caring at all how many people actually play their product. I would literally be throwing money at this game right now if it was on steam, but not on epic. I'll happily scoop up their free monthly games, but I will NEVER spend money on that garbage platform. I'm more than patient waiting for epics exclusivity to expire, I waited for mechwarrior 5, borderlands 3, even the 2 years it took to get chivalry 2. And if a game like the latest ubisoft releases which only release on epic and will never come to steam, I act as if that game doesnt exist. Its sad. If epic had a consumer friendly approach and was spending all this money on bettering their platform then it would benefit pc gaming greatly, instead they chop up and divide the pc gaming community by trying to bully people to force them to use a lesser service. Pathetic.
The physics needs a lot of work in my opinion. Zen should abandon the idea of only having one unified set of physics for the originals and the Williams tables. What they have now is fine for the Zen originals but is not realistic or challenging enough for the Williams tables. They can keep it for the easy mode for the Williams tables, but need to move back to what they had in FX3 for the Williams Classic Arcade (from Universal Monsters on) for a more realistic experience.
