Out of hatred to pinhead it's fine... But yes it needs to be fixed

I honestly think it should be changed. It isn't really fair for a perk to target nerf a killer this hard.

No, whats the point of having perks if they can't counter things? If something speeds you up, it should speed you up. Prove thyself isn't deactivated by gen regression perks, remember me doesn't deactivate wake up. Making fixated deactivate solely for Pinhead's ability is silly. Why use perks at all if they don't counter opposing forces?

@@Cpt_Ace_Welt it's not a targeted deactivate. It's reducing someone's speed to a certain speed. Because they AREN'T walking, they have hooks in them.

Calm Spirit hard counters Infectious, which is a perk quite often used by killers (and it's great to counter their counter to the flashlight saves :P) Also imo, Self-Aware counters Spirits a lot better than Iron Will, especially after the nerf on IW (a combo of SB + SA is really strong against her too.)

True it literally makes pinheads power useless against them so many times I'll effectively hook then the survs walking and already broken the chains before my cooldowns even fully over, they need to make it so they just move normal speed or it reduces the effects of the perk drastically. It's not like it was made to counter pinhead

They need to make Pinhead’s slowdown a flat speed rather than binding it to walking speed. This should not work.

Nobody will put a single perk on just for a specific killer, but this is a dumb oversight. Pinhead is a niche pick, luckily, so almost no one will be able to do this outside of custom lobbies, thankfully

Yeah but who plays Pinhead? And more importantly, who would bring this perk on the sole basis that it might counter the next killer they get. If you use it now, you'll still use it, if you don't use it now, then you still won't use it.

@@ThyBigCheddar Doesn’t make sense my guy, the whole point of the video is that on top of all it’s benefits it’s a hard counter to one specific killer. It’s also dumb to not acknowledge the strength of a perk based solely on the fact that the popularity of the said killer is so low. If you choose that specific argument the opposite should also be the case. Why not nerf starstruck since so many nurses take advantage of her kit with it? But I digress, the perk should be re balanced to not counter his power so heavily.

@@alejandromoya5104 My point is that Pinhead counter is a benefit. Not a reason to use the perk. After seeing this video, people aren't going to put on the perk in the rare chance (and that's why killer popularity is important because it is a rare chance to see a Pinhead) that they hard counter a killer. I'm not saying the Perk isn't strong, I'm staying that if you already had it in your build this vid isn't going to change that, and that if it isn't in your build your not adding it solely on its benefit against Pinhead. Basically the perks usage isn't going up.

@@Rabbit-o-witz it was changed like a year ago to add expose and broken to it. People don’t remember or don’t use the perk often so they don’t know how useful this perk it’s. It also stacks with all four survivors running it so you get your exhaustion and exposed effects down to 12-15 seconds don’t remember exactly I think it’s 12.5 but either way very good.

Yeah it's great. DS triggers only once a month, borrowed time is base kit now, unbreakable rarely works unless it's a Myers, and Dead hard is dead. Finally actually interesting perks can be used. And I'm saying this as someone who plays both evenly

@@doorsareforopening i went Against some Survis that had a couple that use new Dead heard REALLY good, timing my hits with the hability and using it kinda like a Dark Souls roll to take a hit. I was pretty suprised that for once they're not using the perk like an "instant win" but as actual mechanics one have to master

@@nicolasriveros943 I agree, dead hard can still counter some M1 killers but it doesn't win *every* encounter like it used to. Just alot of them, and in a way that's more timing and skill based. It's at the most balanced imo that it has ever been.

Have you tried Fixated and Diversion (pebble) ? It's so good and fun :P My favourite use of Fixated is against Myers trying to stalk. At some point they don't even know if you're still there or not haha

If survivors could base their builds off the killer they’re facing, eg. stealth killers, antiloop killers, m1 killers, etc, the game would be nigh unplayable as killer.

@@ruski77 Yeah probably, but it'd be fun to see maybe. A PTB that allows survivors to see what killer they're going against but the everyone can see what items/perks the survivors are bringing. Idk if it'd be balanced, but it'd be interesting to see how it plays from a game design standpoint.

How is that NOT intentional ? A survivor who is chained cannot sprint or do any quick actions, that means they're reduced to only walking. Fixated/Self-Aware makes it so you walk faster... That just makes sense. And that's why since Fixated got changed survivors have considered it a counter to Pinhead's chains. Urban Evasion will counter any ranged killers, Flashbang and Blast Mine will uncloak a Wraith (actually, a perfectly timed Flashbang will even stop a blinking Nurse), Calm Spirit will fully negate the Doctor's Blast... so what ? It's normal that some perks will counter some abilities or other perks. With your same kind of logic, it's ridiculous that a killer's power negate the survivors' ability to run or do fast actions ! It's part of their base kit, why should an ability fully negate it ? Plus, Fixated doesn't fully negate Pinhead's power, it counters it when the survivor is far away or on a strong pallet, if they're not, the PH will still down them so they'll get no value from Fixated.
