Cole is such a good actor that I often find myself forgetting that I’m not actually watching a middle aged woman. Edit: to clarify: My bad, I meant middle aged to older; in this video, the character is clearly on the older side.
He reminds me of the Kids in the Hall, who are brilliant. They also performed in drag, and like Cole, the joke is never a man in a dress, but rather fully realized, hilarious female characters.
To write such a work of art, then to act in it so flawlessly... that is true genius. Even the decorations in the background, the crochet throw blanket, the shawl... all these important little touches, such craft went into this. So wish I could see Oh, Mary! Their interview on Seth Meyers recently was brilliant.
Please keep making these videos, Cole. I need this level of absurdity and oddball material. It's done so earnestly and you commit so much, it makes the whole thing work so much better. Thank you for this. haha
And from this point onwards.....I shall always rise, turnabout and salute my "Captain", before I sent it on its dark, watery journey into the great beyond....Bon voyage Captain, you shan't be forgotten.
Yes! More content! This was great but I would love the revival of the character from pee pee manor. The whole woman on the run from her past trope parodied by none better.
As a child my grandmother traveled West to Montana in a covered wagon. I'm sure she left a few poos along the trail. Her father drove guests around Yellowstone in horse+drawn busses when the park first opened. True story. You are brilliant, my dear.
the background motab i perish. also at one pt u do this thing w your eye that is exactly like my grandma, a descendant of hardy mormon pioneer stock so i am just going to call out that this representation is 💯% accurate and authentic
