I bought the Pixel 6 non pro a few days ago. In no way I can justify the prices of the Ultra and 6 Pro with how good the normal pixel 6 is.

I have both right now. I find that there is a (small) problem with Samsung screens, either the vivid mode has colors that are a little too saturated or the natural mode seems a little too washed out to me. The Pixel 6 Pro offers a better compromise for color rendering without touching the screen settings...and I found the same thing compared with other phones vs my ex S21 Ultra, S20+ ect... Regarding the speakers they are more pleasant on the Pixel because they have more bass. In terms of camera overall the S22U is interesting but in terms of quality the Pixel is better, the medium range zoom (between 4x and 9X) is better than the S22U. The night mode pause may be too long on the Pixel but if you succeed the photos are cleaner with less artifacts and noise for example. The S22 Ultra is richer in functions, it is beautiful but it depends on your tastes and needs. Thanks for the review 👍

Great review. One of the few that discusses call quality. Another aspect that is ignored when reviewing and comparing phones is band frequencies and compatibility with carriers. These two are very similar if not the same for say US T-Mobile usage but buying a OnePlus 10 pro global, for e.g. is not and god forbid Xiaomi Chinese variant even worse. For anyone that relies on the device for work and not to watch videos, that's probably the most important thing. Best of luck with your channel.

I have both as well , I would say that the pixel with the update’s performance is A way smoother than experience . My S22 ultra is laggy at times using the default launcher , improved in some areas when switching to nova or Hyperion launcher but tends to crash out a lot , I enjoy how the s22 feels in hand over the pixel but both great phones

Great video, and like others already said, this is the first video I see someone testing a phonecall lol! It is a phone, and nobody test calling in they revieuws, but we are also to blame, we watching and just now because you did, we wake-up! I hear about performance and software problems, if you can choose between a S22 Ultra with LineaOs or a Pixel 6 Pro with GrapheneOs, wich one shall be a better choice?

I have a pixel 6 and my main gripe is the screen, it doesn't get bright enough, and on a sunny day it's unusable, even on auto brightness. Pixels have always had dim screens

I like the fact that he did a call quality comparison, because no one ever does that. It matters because I had a Pixel3XL in the pat and had a lot of call quality issues and rhe calls would drop quite frequently, but the Google software was very good but the hardware is what left me disappointed

Had the P6 pro tried it but got rid of it . It had too many issues for it to be trusted as a main phone for me. Have the S22 U now so far no issues so far and nice to have the note back again.

I just got the Samsung Ultra and night pics are not as good as my old Pixel 4a 5g, it is a big difference actually, I cant even imagine how much better they are on the 6 pro...Im considering returning the ultra even tho I love the S pen as former Note lover but night mode pics are a deal breaker...decisions decisions, I have 9 days left to return it

There is very little difference with flagship displays. If you check out DXO and others, there are effectively no differences despite the hype that the S22U gets. I choose now on other metrics, like PWM flicker and tones for eye care as well as dynamic refresh and the S22U does not match the competition here (S22U PWM 240Hz which is terrible, I think the Magic 4 Pro has 1344Hz!). The Pixel has a solid display but nothing above the average flagship, great as that is. Having used both, I would choose neither, and strangely, I am now switching between my OPPO Find X5 Pro and my old S20U! Crazy as that sounds, but my S20U is much smoother and faster than my S22U. Cameras are better on the Ultra but I use my iPhone for that task (do not use 10X zoom). The S20U sucked for two years but since OneUI 4.0 it has had a new lease of life. The Pixel 6 Pro 4X zoom is special and if you use normal zooms then it is worth buying for that and the main camera, as well as the software.

u said more about the S22u and then you choose the Pixel 6 Pro out of the blue. Confusion. Theres also the iPhone 13 Pro on the mix out of nowhere... I didnt see the point about this on this video about 2 Androids. And also you talked a lot about the cases (which was more informative than the comparison itself). You have all the tools and talked about something "New" (call quality) bit I didnt get the comparison to really help me right now

I went with the S22U. It was a better deal for the price. I received $780 for my Pixel 3 trade in, which made the S22U $400. It was a toss up between the 2, the cost made the difference for me.

How good is pixel 6 battery life, my dad might need a new phone soon.

I can't get over how bad the s22 ultra battery is ..I bought it twice about 3 months apart, hoping maybe updates made it better. Both times I returned it after one day Sticking with the Pixel 6 pro

I had pixel 6 pro and photo from it was too much hdr photos literally looked fake there was no depth in photo and now i switch back to iphone 11 pro max 😢 and yeahhh pixel 6 potrait mode sucksss its reall bad.

Absolutely the pixel 6 pro all day everyday. I have both. The animation of the Samsung is dreadful. Worst on any flagship phone in 2022. Well on exynos variant anyway. If I had to get rid of one the Sammy s22 ultra would be out the door.

That's one of the major reasons for me to swap to Apple. iOS is pants compared to Android, but I prefer Pixel's photo quality. However the iphone is consistent and no fuss too. but overall, we need to be more protective of our privacy. Your thoughts?

That's all the talk on cameras? They are pro phones and not even going in the different lenses or manual? The avg consumer isn't going to buy any of this, hence why a point and shoot comparison is futile

legend I've had the pixel 6 pro for about 5 months. I've been REALLY eyeing the S22 ultra bc the pixel has waayyyy too many bugs (random service cutout, slow fingerprint, inaccurate auto display brightness etc.). I didn't consider myself a phone heavy user but i guess i am. When i switch between video watching, web and app to app browsing, the phone gets hot very easily very often. I've been with pixel since the 4xl launch. I'll probably get the pixel 7pro. I just hope they fix a lot of stuff with the second google chipset.

I really wish Samsung would develop their own OS. I really don’t like Android but I like Samsung phones. As for them trying something new design wise… Remove Note and replace with S. That is all.

I decided to go back to Galaxy after having owned the Pixel 6 Pro since last year. I believe, objectively speaking, it's a great phone. For the first time in the history of their Pixel line up, they actually tried to give us everything, even going as far as to create their own proprietary chip. However, the Pro didn't feel 'special' to me. Nor do I feel it really utilizes its hardware to full potential. For the specs it was offering, I didn't find the camera results any more better than what I was getting on the Pixel 4 XL or 5, but to make matters worse, the battery on the 6 Pro in my experience was actually worst than that of the 5. The video quality is great, though. A lot better than what you were getting on the previous mentioned phones, and I believe it's slightly better than what I was getting on the S21U in terms of sharpness. That being said, again, the cameras. The selfie camera is so disappointing. Overly processed and void of quality I'd say should be standard in a modern smartphone. Not only that, the viewfinder is a pixelated mess. MBKHD says the purpose of it had something to do with the ISO, but it's still off-putting to see it in practice. I'd say the Pixel 4 XL is probably the best Pixel Google has offered. Although I do prefer the selfie camera's on the 2-3, the 4 XL does a great job of harmonizing everything right about Pixel. Anyways, all that said, The S21U became my second favorite phone, next to the Note 4. It's a powerhouse force to be reckon with, and having used the S22U for the past two weeks, I'd still say the S21U holds the lead. Out of both the S22U and the Pixel 6 Pro, I'd say I give the edge to the S22U. I feel it's much more versatile for my use case, and I rarely experience hiccups with it. I'm gonna continue using it and see if that changes. Leg-end

I've had the Pixel 6 Pro for almost a year. It is, without doubt, the most annoying phone I've ever owned. All the smart bits are great. Brilliant, even. The issue for me has been connectivity. Drops calls. Callers can't hear what I'm saying. WiFi Calling come and goes. Happens in all but the very strongest signal areas. If nobody rings you, and you don't ring anybody, the Pixel 6 Pro is the phone for you.

well the pixel is still full of bugs, got a mid range chip but may takes better picture than samsung or the same

pixel 6 Pro with that tensor chip is nowhere near the S22ultra Snap 8 Gen 1 chip...Lightyears ahead...

Poor choice, I've got the pixel 6 pro and it's a rather trash phone to be honest. Also I found it strange you chose the s22 in nearly every category only to choose the pixel at the end? Plot twist

The only thing that makes me hesitate is the Pixel 6 pro's performance. It seems like it's a weaker CPU and I don't know how good will it be like 3-4yrs from now.
