Pizza Time Theatre Show Restoration - Part Five

The saga continues as our three loyal Pizza Timers continue work on fully restoring a cira 1981 Pizza Time Theatre Balcony Show.
Here we experience the early testing phase of the nearly complete Show using a rare 1979 show reel. The results reveal many interesting surprises, including some interesting insights into the early animation and programming techniques used at that time. At the time that this was filmed in 2007, no one had seen these particular shows with operational figures in nearly 30 years!
These 1979 skits were originally programmed for Portrait Era figures, which pre-date the figures in this restored Show. The rough, limited movements are obvious when compared to the style of animation programming used during the Classic Era of PTT ( 1981 through 1983 ). In a later chapter the 1981 skits will be seen in action.
With the early test successful, the Show is now ready for the next step towards completion.
